The Brampton Royals took on JOBA Academy for a double dip at Walter Fuller Complex in St. Petersburg to kick off their spring training trip. With this being the first day of on field activities, it was in question how ready the boys of Brampton and one of the favourites to be a top the standings in the Midget Elite League would fare.
Starting on the mound was left-hander and 2016 grad Jereme Kanhai. Kanhai has a lean frame with room to add weight at 5-foot-10, 130-pounds. Worked from a clean ¾ arm slot with a slow tempo delivery.
