Updated Illinois Power 25 Rankings

Illinois Scouting Staff

We are full steam ahead for the spring season as teams are right in the thick of conference battles. Let's take a look at yet another week of IHSA baseball and all of the noteworthy action from across the state.

Naturally, there was some movement throughout the Power 25, but one thing that stayed the same was Nazareth and Joliet Catholic holding down the top two positions. The Roadrunners, who now boast a 25-0 record, saw four wins on the week, taking down Benet in a three-game set and also notching a victory over Niles Notre Dame 13-3 which gave head coach Lee Milano his 600th career victory at the helm of the club.

Joliet Catholic stays right where they are at No. 2 after a perfect 3-0 week against some tough clubs. They took down Mount Carmel in a two-game set 8-1 & 11-0, and they also took down Sandburg by the score of 6-4 to improve their record to 19-2.

Continue reading below to see how teams fared in the Power 25 throughout this past week.
