Yesterday the Canadian Junior National Team took on a team put together by the New York Yankees organization at the Walter Fuller complex in St. Petersburg. It’s safe to say that this was the best collective performance by the pitching staff from a numbers standpoint against pro competition thus far.
2016 left-hander Matt Jones started and battled through three innings and had to overcome some errors and walks.
