EC Memorial beat Chippewa Falls on Monday 9-2 in Game 2 of a double header at Casper Park. Henry Eilen racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Old Abes. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the fifth inning. Zach Johnson got it done on the rubber on the way to a win. He allowed two runs over six innings. Johnson struck out two, walked four and gave up eight hits. |

Alex Schulte threw a shutout to carry the undefeated Blugolds to a 3-0 victory over La Crosse Central at Copeland Park in seven innings. Schulte kept Central off the scoreboard for all seven innings, allowing no runs on two hits while striking out four. Aquinas was led by a flawless day at the dish by Rudy Rott Jr, who went 2-2 against Central's pitching. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the sixth inning. The Blugolds went up for good in the second, scoring two runs on a two-run single by Chris Curti. |
