Spencer Norman, 2028, OF (GA)
Uncommitted. 5-foot-11, 175 pounds. Few names exploded onto the scene at the 13U National championship like this proportionally framed beast. We knew little of him prior to the tournament, but nearly the entire country knew him after he hit a tape measure shot that went beyond viral after the game. Yes it was hit with a drop 5, but everyone else his age was swinging it and didn’t produce a 403 ft, 105.7 EV bomb. What impressed us even more was his approach the following AB, where he put an smooth inside-out swing on an outer edge pitch and drove it nearly to the wall in RF. His hip timing of release points, well sequenced swing, and ability to match plane give him consistent opportunities to hit for power production. We expect to see steady progression in his game, and this will be one of the biggest power threats in the class for years to come.

Grant Hill, 2026, RHP ,(AL)
Uncommitted RHP that is young for the 2026 class and was very impressive last weekend. A 6-3 175 LB frame to dream on with plenty more to come and already present body awareness and athletic movements throughout the delivery that allowed for ease of operation and repeatability. Sitting 83/86 and up to 87 MPH with the FB that played up due to his 6’8 release height and steep plane when used down in the zone. He showed feel to spin a 71-73 MPH downer CB that got plenty of ugly swings and whiffs. What really stood out for me was his ability to hold his velocity throughout the later innings of the outing, as he was still touching 85 in the 5th/6th innings. Overall this is a very intriguing 26’ arm and it will be exciting to track his ascent up.
Brandon Perkins Jr, 2028, UTIL (KY)
Uncommitted. 5-foot-9, 160 pounds. Noticeable athlete with a medium, compact frame.  Impressive lower half sink to get on plane with the ball, stays on legs throughout. Smooth hip pace to create lower half momentum and knee to knee clearance. Impressive linear connection by tucking in back elbow. One of the better hitters for average in the tournament. Advanced contact hitter and hits barrels consistently, with three 95 EV hits in the quarterfinal game. Gets good leverage on the ball and hits the sweet spot often. Quick strides on the bases, smooth and quick baserunner. Aggressive baserunning, also stealing home in the quarterfinal game. Overall impressive hitter and was a stand-out in the championship, getting four triples across the final three games.

Griffin McCain, 2027, LHP/OF (SC)
South Carolina commit. 6-foot-2, 165 pounds. Tall, slender frame with noticeable athleticism that’s been impressive on both sides of the ball. Pitched twice in the tournament, topping his fastball at 85 and featured a nice feel for a sweeper running 73-74. Commanded the zone well on both pitches and allowed no hits in his first outing. Pitching mechanics were impressive, with a smooth and effortless delivery and a H3/4 arm slot. Also had a big extension in his delivery that plays up. Located where he wanted to and was dominant in both outings. Highly projectable on both sides of the ball. Utilizes his body and hips well in his swing as he is well-connected. Patient hitter that makes good adjustments to the pitch and sees the ball well. Has some spring action in his swing that increases momentum on the ball. Swing mechanics were advanced and stood out, swing was short and powerful. Creates good lower half momentum and has a wide stance. Overall good follow that also has good legs for the basepaths, getting a stand-up triple at 93 off the bat in the first game of the tournament. Clutch player that also has good range in center field with his speed. Well-skilled in both pitching and hitting and there’s a lot more to come from the ‘27 SC commit.

JQ Crosby C, 2026 (SC)
Uncommitted. 6-foot-1, 170 pounds. Immediately the physicality stands out as there is a glaring presence around him as soon as he takes his position or steps in the batters box. Prototypical middle of the order bat. A RH swing that is built on leverage and controlled intent with a simple knob led path that has natural loft, playing well with the advanced raw power for his age. I saw him work a deep count and connect for a long HR to LF in a huge spot for Canes American. High follow 2026 C that has huge pwr production in his future.
 

 

 

Max Phillips,2027, OF, (KY)
Uncommitted , A native of the bluegrass state, Phillips possesses a 6-3 155 LB frame to dream on with present athleticism throughout. His fluid, well sequenced LH swing that packs twitch in the wrists and easy leg through the zone was easily one of the more advanced swings last weekend regardless of age. He is only going to advance as he continues to mature and learn how to use his body even more efficiently. Great Follow in the ‘27 Class.
 

Carson “Bear” Calvo, 2027, SS (CA)
Uncommitted. 5-foot-10, 160-pounds. Strong, compact frame with athleticism throughout. Easy smooth rhythm between his hips and hands. Minimal negative movement before turning his hips, shoulders, and bat in stride and through the zone. His elbow tuck and quick hands move through the zone as soon as his front foot lands and therefore he is able to reach on inside pitches with pull-side power. His tight, connected swing is lead by the knob of his bat as it moves through the zone with gap-to-gap power. He is a confident, fearless hitter when he gets in the box. Does a good job of staying patient before unloading on any pitch that comes across the zone. Defensively, Calvo has good range and smooth transitions. His arm is strong with potential to get stronger. Really good player that plays the game hard. Calvo will be a fun player to watch throughout the years as he has all the potential to develop into a really good player at the collegiate level. 

Hayes Maginnis, 2027, SS (GA)
Uncommitted. 5-foot-10, 150-pounds. Slim, quick twitch athlete that plays multiple sports (Baseball and Football). Smooth, connected swing with nice backside leverage and elbow tuck as his bat path drives through the zone with gap-to-gap force. Absolutely dominated the 14U National Championship tournament as he was smoking balls to all parts of the field. Also, Maginnis is deceptively quick around the bases as he took off multiple times around the bases with quick strides. Defensively, Maginnis has above average range for his age and a nice, quick release. His transitions are natural and his arm has good zip to it. Maginnis has the potential to be better than both of his brothers. Will be a player to watch over the years. 

Sullivan Reed, 2027, 3B/1B (AL)
Uncommitted. 6-foot, 220-pounds. Muscular frame with athletic actions throughout. Multi-sport athlete as he plays both baseball and football. Hips, shoulders, and bat all work in unison. Minimal negative move before positive movement begins with front hip. His back elbow remains tucked, hands in, and barrel flat before moving through the zone with serious power. Barreled the ball multiple times to LF and the left-center gap with 95 EV. Also, Reed can move around the bases extremely well for his size due to his long strides. Defensively, Reed is an athlete and showed it in the 14U National Championship as he was fielding grounders with ease. His arm is strong as he was able to really throw it on a line with good accuracy to 1B. Overall, Reed is a really good ball player with potential to develop even more. Will be a kid to watch as he develop throughout the next couple of years. 

Nicholas Carroll, 2028, MIF (GA)
5-foot-6, 135-pounds. Athletic build with quick twitches at the plate, and solid, smooth fielding tools. Carroll had a strong showing this week, and helped lead his team to the Championship game. Mechanically sound swing with quick hands and solid bat speed. Hit balls to the wall all week long, and put one out to LF. Carroll is a really athletic ball player who shows projectability in the coming years.
 

Easton Holmes, 2028,RHP/MIF (GA)
6-foot, 155-pounds. On the mound Holmes commanded the zone and attacked hitters throughout his entire outing. Fastball was up to 81, and his breaking ball had tight spin with nice bite to it as well. Threw both pitches for strikes. He used the elevated Fastball to get strikeouts, and breaking balls down in the zone as well. At the plate Holmes keeps things short and simple. He uses all parts of the field and does not try to do too much. Good athlete, and high projectability!
 


Amaree Griffin, 2027, LHP/OF (GA)
Uncommitted. 6-foot-2, 155-pounds. Griffin is emerging as one of the best two-way prospects in the state of Georgia. Looks stronger and more physical than when we saw him in the spring. He has been up to 87 on the mound with an advanced breaking ball, and solid changeup. At the plate Griffin is projectable as a big time speed guy, with potential to become a guy that can put some balls out of the yard. Cannot wait to see how this young man develops. Highly projectible!!

Gavin Greene, C, 2028
Gavin put up some serious numbers this weekend. Recording multiple multi-hit games and going deep in multiple games. Greene possesses power that was definitely on display this weekend. The simple load + the athletic and strong build allows to crush balls all around the yard with real power. 

Antwane Daniels, OF, 2026

The 6-5, 175lb two sport athlete swung it very well in the national championship tournament. Coming from a very athletic background, he did not disappoint. Coming in clutch multiple times throughout the week. Daniels was a very tough out in the box as he smoked balls to all parts of the field. Posed a real threat on the bases and had multiple stolen bases. 

Cohen Brooks, C, 2026

A brick wall behind the plate and a very tough out at the plate. Constantly getting on base almost every chance he gets. He came up clutch in many situations, specifically clearing the bases with a triple. He ended up getting caught at third, but all three of the runs scored. That put his team up by two runs and that led to a win in the books.

Joseph Mendez, MIF, 2027,(GA)
The young switch hitter is really someone to follow in the ‘27 class. He has good bat to ball skills from either side of the plate, with noticeable power from both sides as well. Mendez has good swing mechanics with slow/gradual movements in his load with good hand separation. He has good hip fire in his swing, really maximizing his power. Mendez will be a good follow and fun to see grow in the upcoming years.
 

Dimitri Griffin, OF, 2029, (GA)
Griffin has good size for his age. The long/lanky right handed hitter has a good on plane swing creating backspin. He gets into a good hitting position with a solid load. Griffin, has plenty of room to fill out in his tall frame, which will add the power in his swing. He will be a good one to follow coming out of the ‘29 class.
Liam Collier, 1B, 2027, (GA)
Collier, with a strong frame for his age, has a nice level left handed swing. He has a simple opposite field approach, with a strong barrel. Collier is a productive power hitter that can drive the ball to all parts. His hitting ability is just at the beginning while he will progress with more strength comes.
