Ryan Luehrman, RHP/SS, 2015 ... Projected number 1 on the staff, played first year on varsity as a sophomore.
Chris Reimer, RHP, 2015 ... Played first year of varsity as a sophomore coming out of the bullpen, could be the number two starter.
Alex Pomento, RF, 2015 ... Played his first year of varsity baseball as a sophomore, good right-handed bat. Earned his spot as the DH.
Adam Luehrman, 1B/RHP, 2015 ... Played on varsity as a sophomore. Has great potential as a utility player.
Sam Vander Ven, RHP/IF, 2015 ... Used as a utility player and relief pitcher for varsity as a sophomore. Developing a knuckleball and looks to earn a spot in the rotation.
Brendan Sano, RHP/OF, 2017. Has potential to be the number 2 on the staff. Also a very good hitter. Lots of potential.

OUTLOOK:  

After a 17-9 season including a 9-1 conference record in 2013 the 2014 Athens Bulldogs Baseball team is going to be young, as they graduated 11 seniors from last year, 8 of which were starters. The players are expected to have success in baseball and other sports at AHS as most are multi-sport athletes. The baseball coaching staff is very excited about the team's potential for the 2014 season.
