As we prepare for our 2014 high school season coverage, we are going to take a quick glance at teams from across the state.

OUTLOOK:

The Trojans will be a young squad this spring as 5-6 sophomores could crack the everyday lineup.  A pair of sophomores, RHP/SS Andy Highbaugh and RHP/C/1B Andrew Hughes will lead Barren County both on the mound and at the plate, while senior Barrett Billingsley returns his .338 batting average from last year's squad as well.  Look for key contributions from another pair of sophomores in RHP/IF Ellis Wininger and OF Grayson Hyatt.  The young Barren County squad will gain a lot of valuable varsity experience this spring.
