OUTLOOK:

The Admirals got a big addition to the roster with transfer Collin Harris.  The athletic Harris will anchor the defense at SS and will provide plenty of pop in the middle of the Danville lineup.  Junior Mason Stamm will provide pop from the left side after hitting .329 with 3 home runs and 27 stolen bases in 2013. Senior Jay Hunn (.344, 26 SB in 2013), senior Robert Rowland (.333 in 2013), and junior Ben Mahan (.349 in 2013) will also play key roles for the Admirals' offense.  Senior Nick Serey returns to lead the pitching staff after racking up 8 wins last spring.  Mahan should be the No. 2 on the mound after he went 4-1 in 2013.  This will be the most athletic team Coach Morse has had in his 14 years at Danville. If the Admirals can get a young pitcher or two to develop through the season, they have a chance to compete for the 45th District and 12th Region titles as well as the All 'A" State Tournament.
