OUTLOOK:  

If someone is going to give Moeller a run for their money in the GCL, it may just be the Elder Panthers. Coach Thompson's rotation features several high level arms in Kyle Koppenhoeffer, who showed a mid to upper 80's fastball in the fall; Austin Koch, a talented unsigned senior with a power arm; and Shane Smith, a junior with a mid 80's fastball and command of multiple off-speed pitches. The lineup will be anchored with talented junior Sam Hauer behind the plate and the sturdy Kyle Orloff (.354) at shortstop.
