OUTLOOK:

Franklin is coming off of a successful season that saw them post an 18-12 record including going 7-5 within their league. There isn't any hiding around the fact that the loss of RHP Travis Lakins (OSU recruit) will be tough to replace. However, they are returning six starters in the field and three pitchers. They will be led by junior catcher Drew Johnson and junior middle infielder Jake Riddell. Johnson is a solid defensive catcher and will be hitting in the middle of the line-up. Riddell will be starting in the middle of the infield for the second consecutive year and will hit in the leadoff spot. With a good amount of experience returning, Franklin looks to compete well within their league and possibly take home the title.
