OUTLOOK:  

Moeller is back and loaded for a run at their third straight state championship. Coach Held only returns four players in his everyday lineup and five pitcher's from his rotation, but don't let that fool you. Moeller has seven players committed to Division I college programs on their varsity roster with an abundance of young talent waiting in the wings. The Crusaders posses the state's deepest and most talented pitching staff lead by senior southpaw Zach Logue (Kentucky recruit). The offense features one of the top position players in the Midwest in Riley Mahan (Kentucky recruit). Perhaps, the biggest question for Coach Held will be identifying a starting catcher due to the departure of Cameron Whitehead  (Furman recruit). The expectations are high. The target is on their back. Now, the challenge will be for the Moeller squad to reload and come together for another run in 2014.
