TOP PLAYERS

Alec McCurry, P/C, 2014 ... Has an older brother at Tiffin University. Everyday catcher, but could be used as a pitcher to help the staff. First team all-conference 2013.
Tyler Johnson, P/IF, 2015 ... Has a decent fastball, mid to high 80s. Could be the number one starter for Olentangy Orange. Voted first team all-conference.
Cody McCague, 3B, 2014 ... Hit .356 in 2013. Credited with the school season record in RBI (27) and doubles (9). Second team all-conference for his efforts.
Nick Mancini, OF, 2014 ... Honorable mention all-conference.
Colin Shepherd, DH/OF/IF, 2016 ... Special mention all-conference in 2013.
Matt Smith, OF, 2014 ... A player who takes pride in his hitting and defense.

OUTLOOK:  

The defending OCC champs bring back 9 starters. While pitching could be a concern, only returning one, experience certainly won't be. Olentangy Orange won last year and other than in the pitching staff didn't lose much. There's no reason to think they shouldn't be competitive in defending the conference title.
