TOP PLAYERS

Treston Gonzales, RHP/3B, 2015 ... Good prospect, working arm, sitting mid 80s with the fastball. If windup is cleaned up a bit could see sitting upper 80s touching 90.
Damon Egnor, RHP/INF, 2016 ... Another good arm sitting mid 80s with the fastball. Another to keep eye on.
Quentin Vance, CF, 2014 ... Top of the order guy, good speed.
Kyle Kauser, SS, 2014 ... Good athlete, pretty smooth in the field.
Javier Gonzales, UTIL/P, 2014.
Corbin Edwards, OF/P, 2016 ... Solid little prospect, kinda intriguing. Needs to clean up swing a bit, but has some tools.

OUTLOOK:  

The 2013 Paulding Panthers only won six games, but this isn't 2013 anymore. In 2014 there is plenty of optimism for the Panthers with a solid one-two punch on the mound with '15 Treston Gonzales and '16 Damon Egnor. Top of the order senior leadership from Kyle Kauser and Quentin Vance should put the Panthers in the top half of the Northwest Conference and a possible run in the tournament. The NWC has Crestview looking like the cream of the crop, but the Panthers are looking to pounce in 2014.
