OUTLOOK:  

If there is one certainty for Pickerington Central, it is the fact that they will be tested come tournament time after facing the likes of Pickerington North, Gahanna Lincoln, and Grove City amongst others in conference play. But, if the Tigers are going to put together a successful season, several young players will need to step up in important roles, especially on the mound. West Virginia recruit Kyle Casserly will anchor the middle of the order. Keep an eye out for the athletic R.J. Williams who impressed at the Pre-Season Underclass South earlier this month. Senior southpaw Michael Barnabei and sophomore Clay Surrell, who is coming back from injury, will anchor the top of the rotation.
