OUTLOOK

Head Coach John Steinhilber and the Hebron Hawks should have a successful 2015 campaign bringing back seven position starters and eight arms.  Last spring they tied for first in the conference round robin tournament with Boone Grove and Washington Township.  Coming back to the Hawks this spring is senior 1B/RHP Zac Hernandez, a 5-foot-10, 180 pounder that hit .479 in 2014.  Junior catcher Stephen Doelling returns to the Hawks after hitting .337 as a sophomore.  Another senior expected to contribute is 3B Jarrett Majcher who hit .389 last year.  Sophomores Tyler Patrick and Hunter Ryan will also help lead the Hawks this spring.  Patrick, a 6-foot-2, 175 pound righty, went 5-2 last season with a 3.53 ERA.  Ryan, a 6-foot 185 pound 1B/OF, hit .333 as a freshman.  With the experience and talent returning, Hebron has a very good chance at staying atop the conference standings this spring.
