Justin McCartney. The senior left-hander returns for 2015 after earning 1st Team All-League honors last spring posting a 3-2 record and 1.24 ERA in 34 innings pitched.

KEY PLAYER LOST
Elijah Walters, 2014. Last spring Walters lead the Knights in RBI (18) and walks (22) in 22 games played and was named Honorable Mention All-League at season’s end.

NOTEWORTHY
Sacred Heart moves to class 2-1A for the 2015 season after previously being in class 3A.

2015 OUTLOOK
The Saints look to rebound from last spring’s 9-13 season with the return of three All-NCAA league honorees leading the way in seniors LHP/OF Justin McCartney, RHP/IF Josh Dolan (team leading 35 innings pitched, 3-2 record, 2.20 ERA) and LHP/OF Jordan McMillan (led team with .359 batting average also posted a 2.57 ERA in 16 innings pitched). Senior RHP/C Drew Gormley also returns after hitting .299 with a team-leading 18 RBI while also dialing in a 2.21 ERA in 19 innings pitched. Two juniors played part-time last spring and hit .300+ in LHP/OFJake Bulleigh (.316) and OF Thomas Williams (.304). Juniors RHP/IF Kale Stover, RHP/IF Jerod Toogood and OF Joshua Bergkamp will also factor into the varsity line-up.
