As we prepare for the upcoming 2015 high school season, we will be taking a preseason glimpse at programs from around the state.

Team: Lee-Davis
Nickname: Confederates
Class/Division: 5A South
District/Conference: 11
Head Coach: Kenny Lewis
Twitter Handle:  @LDHS_Baseball
2014 Overall Record: 14-6
2014 Post-Season Finish: Lost in First Round

Number of Returning Starters/Position Players: 4
Number of Returning Starters/Pitchers: 1

TOP RETURNERS (Commit)
Kevin France, C/1B, 2015 (Mary Washington)
Austin Morris, INF/OF/RHP, 2016
Justin Sorokowski, RHP/INF, 2016 (Florida State)

Players of Interest for the Confederates:  Dallas Jackson (OF, 2017)

Outlook:
Lee-Davis is coming off of a solid 2014 season that saw their season end in the first round of the playoffs. The Confederates were hurt by graduation and will have to replace over half of their lineup and almost all of their rotation. The lineup will be led by Justin Sorokowski (RHP/IF, 2016), Austin Morris (UTL/RHP, 2016), and Kevin France (C/1B, 2015). Sorokowski will anchor the Confederate rotation that will need to find some depth to be successful. Lee-Davis will be solid on defense and is a team that has a high baseball IQ, they should be a factor in Conference 11 and could make a trip to loaded the 5A South playoffs this spring.
