OUTLOOK

The 4A Whiteland Warriors had quite the season in 2014 despite their 12-18 record.  The Warriors got on a run late, winning the sectional 13 title over favored Franklin Central 7-2.  The Warriors ended up reaching the Regional championship game before losing 2-1 to a ranked Castle team.  After going 3-9 in the Mid-State Conference last year, they want to compete against the teams in their conference including Plainfield, Mooresville, Greenwood, Franklin, Martinsville, and Decatur Central.  Plainfield won the conference in 2014.  Coach Sherry will have to build their pitching staff throughout the spring after only returning 2 pitchers from 2014.   Seniors Branton Sanders (Anderson University commit), Austin Browning, Jacob Roberson, Chris Pieper, and Cole Carpenter look to lead this group to a successful 2015 season.
