With the 2016 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state.

Starting February 1st, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2016 Spring Team Preview: Sidney Lehman Catholic Cavaliers

Team Name: Sidney Lehman Catholic Cavaliers
Head Coach: Dave King
Division: IV
2015 Record: 26-5
Conference Record: Northwest Central, 14-0
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 5/1

2016 Team Strengths:

• Leadership from the returners

2016 Team Weaknesses:

• Pitching depth
• Defense

Coach Outlook: "Lost some great talent. A lot of young players will get a chance to play. We will have to develop a lot of pitchers."

PBR Outlook: The Cavaliers must replace their pitching they lost off their 26-5 2015 team. One thing we know is that the Cavaliers will be able to mash as you can see by their stats below. If the arms come along, look for the Cavaliers and coach Dave King to make a run come tournament time.
