#1 Wahoo (16-4)  vs. #8 Douglas County West (10-5) 10:00 AM at Sherman Field

Led on the mound by Missouri S&T signee Chase Stebbing, the Warriors are looking to make a run deep in the 2018 Class B state tournament. DC West pulled an upset in the B-1 District final upsetting overall number 1 seed Hastings by a score of 6-1. The Falcons are lead offensively by seniors Andy Carlson (.353 avg) and Caden Hays (.327 avg, 14 runs).  Wahoo won there only match up early this year by a score of 7-2.

#4 Norris (18-6) vs. #5 Hastings (15-5) 1:00 PM at Sherman Field 

Want a chance to see the two power arms in Class B? This first round match up between Norris and Hastings has potential to see Air Force commit Zach Argo vs. Kentucky commit, Sam Wibbels square off. Both guys will pitch into the low 90’s and compete at a high level. Offensively, Norris sets the table with Kentucky commit, Austin Schultz who has shown to ability to be the most explosive player in the state. The Titans won their opening game of the 2018 season by a score of 7-0 over Hasting.

#3 Roncalli Catholic (14-4) vs. #6 Concordia (14-5) 4:00 PM at Sherman Field

Roncalli got a clutch performance on the mound by Labettee CC signee, Creighton Silvian in the B-6 district final game while Concordia dominated Ralston 10-0. These two teams matched up a little less than three weeks ago in a game in which Roncalli won by a score of 13-9. Concordia’s ace, Liberty commit Buck Leinen (6-0, 1.15 ERA, 71 Ks) did not pitch and would be expected to make the start for the Mustangs on Saturday. Roncalli has gotten a big year offensively by one of the more dynamic prospects in the 2019, outfielder Alex Rodgers and Garden City commit Tommy Alitz and Barton CC commit Noah Rheinheimer.

#2 Skutt Catholic (17-5) vs.  #7 Elkhorn (17-9) 7:00 PM at Sherman Field

On Monday, the Skyhawks beat the Antlers by a score of 5-0 behind a Stud performance by Northwest Missouri State commit Jackson Gordon in the B-2 district final.  Skutt has been led offensively by their seniors who are hitting over .350 with JD Daro, Colton Sudbeck, Eli Barton & Gordon. On the mound, they could lean back on Gordon or hand the ball to Bryce Wesley (6-1, .76 ERA). Elkhorn has gotten a majority of their production this year from their young middle infield with sophomore Trey Frahm (.411, 22 RBIs) and freshman Aiden Young (.484, 31 hits).
