With the NCAA's early signing period officially wrapped up, we take a look at the 2018 recruiting classes for each D1 school in Indiana with in-state recruits.  Today we look at Butler's class.

Head coach Dave Schrage and staff received commitments from two players ranked inside the top 50 of Indiana's class of 2018 rankings, both RHP's.  Ranked No. 48 is Terre Haute South's Benji Downs, a big 6-foot-3, 225 pounder that was up to 88 at the Top Prospect Games last June.  Ranked No. 49 is South Bend St. Joseph HS right-hander Alex Voss, a lanky 6-foot-4, 172 pounder with a fastball up to 86 at a showcase last summer.  Also committed to the Bulldogs is Homestead HS outfielder Malik Wirges (Ranked No. 87) who possesses a compact swing with a quick barrel from the right-side of the plate.  Defensively he has some arm strength with quick feet.
