2019 Player Spotlight: RHP Dylan Steele

With the 2018-2019 Prospect Showcase coming up on September 20th at Grand Park in Westfield, IN, throughout the next several weeks we are going to highlight some of the top 2018-2019 prospects we have seen thus far.

Player Name: Dylan Steele
Primary Position: RHP
High School: Bloomington North
Grad Year: 2019

Notes: The freshman right-hander stands in at 6-foot-3 155 pounds. The righty has a good feel for pitching for his age. At an event in June his fastball sat 78-80, topping out at 81. He possesses a quick arm action from a high ¾ slot. Shows some effort with smooth rhythm in the delivery. Breaking ball has an 11/5 shape with gradual break while the change-up sat 69-72 with arm side run. He also flashed a couple of split fingers with tumbling action.
