2019 Spring Team Preview: Pelham

Team Name: Pelham
Head Coach: Joseph Morin
Division: NHIAA 2
2018 Record: 9-9
Conference Record: 9-9
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 8/4

2019 Team Strengths:

  • Defense
  • Starting Pitching
  • Leadership
  • Speed
  • Hitting

Coach Outlook: "We return 14 varsity players who participated in our best season in D2 since 2004! The Pythons won their first D2 Playoff game last year and had the eventual  State Champs down to their last strike in the QT Finals. We have 3 starting pitchers returning along with our closer. Our biggest strength last year was pitching and defense and that will once again be our strongest asset this season. The Pythons are also very aggressive on the bases and have a lot of team speed returning as well. Three big time programs (Portsmouth, Goffstown and Windham) have all moved up to D1 which leaves the division wide open."

PBR Outlook: They return all the key pieces to make another run at the championship. Barring injury they should be the team to beat as the season progresses.

  • Reagan Brunelle (C) SR 6' 165 R/R ( 2 year starter, Team Captain)
