PLAYER NOTES

Luke Potter, LHP.1B, 2027

Long lean frame at 6-1 155 pounds with lots of room to add on.  Had a steady mix of his fastball and curveball that showed he could throw for strikes.  The left hander's fastball sat 74-76 mph while showing the ability to throw it to the arm and glove side.  Breaking ball was 62-64 mph and could throw it early in the count and steal strikes and also used it as a put away pitch late.

Beau Hite, INF/RHP, 2028

Big time relief outing for this athletic right handed arm.  A very athletic and projectable frame at 5-10 145 pounds.  Beau came out of the bullpen and attacked hitters with a good mix of his fastball and breaking ball.  Fastball sat 79-80 mph while really filling up the zone and showing that he could locate to both sides of the plate.  His breaking ball showed a good short and sharp break.  Could use it early to steal some strikes or also use it to put guys away.  Very competitive and athletic arm that is fun to watch compete.

Trip Ostergard, INF, 2027

Fun athletic player that finds ways to get the barrel to the ball.  Big day with the bat, in the 3 at bats had 3 barrels and 3 hits.  Really gets the barrel through the zone and keeps it in the zone forever.  Flat bat that always finds a way to get the bat head to the ball.  Good athlete that plays the game hard with lots of energy.

John Nypaver, LHP/1B, 2027

6-0 160 pound lean athletic frame with lots of projection.  This two way talent had a big day with the bat while getting 2 hits.  Did a good job while staying on the ball and driving the back up the middle and the other way.  Shows good quickness in hands and a flat bat path through the zone.  Defensively shows really good footwork around the bag with good hands.  Good looking athlete that continues to impress each time we see them.
