2023 PBR MS Player of the Year: Cooper Pratt

After a strong 2023 high school baseball season, Prep Baseball Report has announced its Player of the Year in each state. This year, the honor goes to SS/RHP Cooper Pratt, an Ole Miss signee and the No. 1-ranked prospect in the 2023 class in MS.

 

2023 PBR MISSISSIPPI PLAYER OF THE YEAR

 

SS/RHP Cooper Pratt (Magnolia Heights, 2023) is the 2023 PBR Mississippi Player of the Year, the Ole Miss signee had a stellar 2023 campaign both at the plate and on the mound for Magnolia Heights as he helped lead them to another MAIS 5A State Championship. Offensively, Pratt hit for a .463 average, had a total of 18 doubles, 4 triples, 4 homeruns, 45 RBI's and collected 32 stolen bases. On the mound, he recorded a perfect 10-0 record and posted a 0.14 ERA in 49 innings of work. Allowed just 19 hits, 8 walks and tallied a total of 66 strikeouts. It was another impressive season for Cooper Pratt, who has a chance to hear his name called in the upcoming 2023 MLB Draft.
