Prep Baseball Report has officially updated their class rankings over the span of three weeks, updating the Class of 2024, 2025 and 2026 in their respective states. Our staff will now conduct a deep dive into the rankings and highlight key uncommitted players in each class. 

Today, we take a look into the MD/DE Class of 2024 and dive into a physical right-handed pitcher in Reed Thompson (Cape Henlopen, DE). A standout performance at this years Delaware Top Prospect Games, Thompson possesses a physically imposing 6-foot-4, 225 pound frame. The ability to spin for strikes is consistent, mixing a shorter shaped slider that shows the ability to induce swing and miss in the zone. The fastball works both sides of the plate, living in the mid 80's with the ability to miss bats at the top of the zone. It's a clean, high intent makeup that looks to have a slight uptick in velo in the near future.
