35th ranked prospect in 2011 class commits

Dykema is an athletic 6-foot-3 inch, 185 pound SS/RHP and will be attending the University of Illinois Chicago next fall.  He has the makings to be a legitimate middle of the order hitter at the next level showing a quick and explosive swing that produces power.  Defensively he shows lateral quickness and soft hands to go along with the rest of his plus infield actions.  Dykema also shows good speed, running a 7.15 sixty at a recent PBR event.
