LISLE, IL---Andrean (21-2) outslugged the Indians to advance to the tournament Final 4 on Friday. This game was tied 5-5 after two innings as both offenses cranked it up early. Andrean grabbed a 6-5 lead in the top of the fourth on a wild pitch. Kevin McCune’s RBI single and David Cox’s sac-fly gave the 59ers an  8-5 lead. Lemont scored a run in the bottom of the sixth but starting and winning Frank Podkul went the distance for Andrean, allowing two earned runs and eight to pick up the win. The 59er’s will play Providence in a Steven M.Bajenski Semifinal matchup at Standard Bank Stadium Friday at 7:30. You can see the game LIVE at www.highschoolcube.com.
