The Prep Baseball Report is the No. 1 resource for high school baseball in each state we cover through our variety of events, boots-on-the-ground scouting staff, daily coverage, and multimedia platforms. 4A District Roundup:

District 1

Windsor 2 Greeley Central 1
The Wizards opened up district play with a tight victory collecting only 3 hits, but pulling out the win.

Canon City 3 Pueblo County 0
Canon City advances with the shut out victory to face Windsor in the district championship.

Windsor 10 Canon City 1
The Wizzards continued their dominate pitching on the day allowing just 1 run in game number two as they punch their ticket to the 4A Final 8.

District 2

Palisade 9 Montrose 3
Brett Wagner and Nate Bollinger led the way for Palisade going 2-4 with 2 RBI and 3-3 with 1 run and 2 RBI on the day.

Roosevelt 6 Lewis Palmer 2
Trent Beall was the spark Roosevelt needed to advance, he went 1-3 at the plate with 2 runs, 3 RBI and 1 double.

Roosevelt 5 Palisade 1
Roosevelt used 11 hits to score their 5 runs.  They were led by Dylan Poley who went 3-5 with 2 run, 2 RBI and 2 doubles.  Brandin Oberect went 5 strong innings allowing just 1 hit, 1 run and struck out 7.

District 3

Fort Morgan 8 Northridge 7
Isaac Linker and Trey McBride collected 2 hits each for Fort Morgan in the win.  Northridge saw Tayler Aguilar go 1-3 with 2 runs, 2 RBI and 1 home run.

Cheyenne Mountain 2 Mead 1
This was a back and forth game all the way to the end.  Cheyenne Mountain used 5 hits to propel them to victory.

District 4

Palmer Ridge 2 Elizabeth 1
The Bears get the victory and were led by Gabe Rogers who belted a home run and Charlie Deeds who went 5 innings allowing 1 hit, 1 run and struck out 9.

Evergreen 13 Falcon 6
The Cougars start their run back to state in strong fashion and saw Jack Patterson go 1-3 with 2 runs, 2 RBI and 1 home run.  Andrew Stephens added a 2-3 day with 2 runs and 3 RBI.

Evergreen 13 Palmer Ridge 9
13 was the lucky number of the day for Evergreen.  Jack Patterson once again was big at the plate going 1-3 with 2 runs, 3 RBI and 1 home run.  Charlie Deeds had a big day for the Bears going 4-5 with 2 runs, 4 RBI and 2 doubles.

District 5

Valor 2 Kennedy 1
In a game that was closer than most thought it would be, Zach Reid went 7 innings giving up 2 hits, 1 run and struck out three to help Valor advance.

Berthoud 6 Thomas Jefferson 4
Jake Yuska led the way for Berthoud going 1-3 with 1 run and 2 RBI.

Valor 11 Berthoud 4
The Eagles find themselves in a familiar place, headed back to defend their state title after winning the district championship.

Valor Christian advances to the the 4A Final 8

District 6

Wheat Ridge 7 Denver North 5
The Farmers get the hard fought victory and moved on to the district championship game.

Holy Family 11 D’Evelyn 1
The Tigers get the run rule victory and were led at the plate by Collin Kringlen who went 2-3 with 2 runs and 4 RBI.  Weston Siefken took the mound and went 5 strong innings allowing 1 hit, 1 run and struck out 7.

Holy Family 8 Wheat Ridge 4
Jordan Closen was the spark at the plate for Holy Family going 2-4 with 2 RBI.  Davis Martinek added 2 hits for the Tiger.

District 7

Longmont 5 Standley Lake 4
The Trojans win a tight game and were led by Brady Renck who went 2-3 with 2 runs, 1 RBI and 1 Triple and Noah Befus who was 2-3 with 1 RBI.

Discovery Canyon 7 Eire 4
Mark Reyes had a monster day for Discovery Canyon going 4-4 with 1 run and 2 RBI.

Longmont 8 Discovery Canyon 7
The Trojans scored 3 in the bottom of the 7th to claim victory.  Alec Thompson was 2-4 with 1 run and 2 RBI and Jason Mair went 1-2 with 1 run and 3 RBI.

District 8

Pueblo West 9 Durango 1
Ty Garcia was dominate in the opening game, he went 7 innings allowing 3 hits, 1 run and struck out 3.

Golden 12 Glenwood Springs 1
The Demons get the run away win and were led by Joe Quintana who was 2-3 with 2 runs, 3 RBI, 1 double and 1 Triple and Adam Baker who went 5 innings on the mound allowing just 1 hit, 1 run and struck out 5.

Pueblo West 7 Golden 5
The Cyclones were led by Brodie Blackford who went 3-3 with 1 run, 3 RBI, 1 double and 1 triple.

 3A Districts:

Eaton used a complete game performance from Travis Cunningham(2018 grad) with 8 K's and 0 BB to close out Ft Lupton's season. The final score was 5-3. Cunningham was also 3-3 at he plate. In game 2 Eaton defeated Aspen behind a 5 inning run rule pitching performance by Jared Ure (2019 grad, current rank #115). He finished with 9 K's and 0 BB's, and also added a 440 foot HR to left center to help his cause.
