Prep Baseball Report of NC

Prep Baseball Report of North Carolina is excited to announce several open events to allow players from across the state to connect to over 800 college coaches and pro scouts that subscribe to the service.  PBR has long been the most trusted source for information, stats, and video on high school and junior college prospects.  With our “boots on the ground” philosophy, PBR scouts can be seen across the state identifying talent for college coaches and pro scouts.

The scouting team in North Carolina is led by Brandon Hall, a former Division I Recruiting Coordinator in the state.  Also on the team is Matt Payne, again a former Division I Recruiting Coordinator in North Carolina.  Along with Hall and Payne, close to twenty associates with varying backgrounds in the game of baseball and talent evaluation report from games, practices, and workouts.

In an effort to continue to provide opportunity and cover the talent around the state, PBR has announced three new events for the late fall schedule.  Each event is open to all high school players.  Each event will feature a pro-style workout where players will receive verified statistics, including a laser timed 60.  PBR’s experienced and trusted staff will also be on hand to evaluate and film prospects, providing insight to college coaches and pro scouts who simply cannot be everywhere.  Players attending any of the events will receive an updated PBR Profile with the information collected on the day.

Players that have been evaluated by PBR scouts are added to the rankings database, where their player grade can be updated for the next round of player rankings.  Players will also be considered for invite only events like the PBR Preseason All-State in January and the PBR Procase in February.  Further down the line, players can be considered for the PBR Future Games next August, along with Top Prospect Games in North Carolina at the end of the summer.
