Prep Baseball Report

Announcement from Brent Alwine

Players, Parents, Coaches, and Fans,

Prep Baseball Report has given me a baseball outlet since getting out of coaching three years ago.

I used PBR as a college coach for over six years and have a great respect for what PBR does for high school baseball players.

I have been given an opportunity that will allow my family and myself to move closer to home in Indiana, and as a result, I am stepping down as the Scouting Director of PBR Michigan.

I would like to thank Chris Valentine and Sean Duncan for the opportunity they have given me.

I will step away as a huge advocate for what PBR does for high school baseball players by creating a platform for them to showcase their skills for colleges across the country.

Sincerely,

Brent Alwine

PBR MICHIGAN MOVES FORWARD

Brent Alwine has been an invaluable advocate for baseball in the State of Michigan as the scouting director for Prep Baseball Report Michigan.

His passion for the game and commitment to helping players and parents through the recruiting process has been unwavering.

So, it is with a heavy, yet appreciative heart, that we wish Brent and his family all the best as he leaves PBR for another job that will allow him to move his family closer to home in Indiana. (If you would like to contact Brent, he will still be receiving emails on his PBR account during this transition period.)

More than ever, our staff is committed to being your number one resource for amateur baseball in the great state of Michigan. Although Brent will be leaving, our staff remains intact, including Jeff Nowacyzk (former assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Northwood). In addition, JD Heilmann, former recruiting coordinator at the University of Cincinnati and current scouting director for PBR Ohio, will assist during the transition process.

We are currently in the process of interviewing candidates for the open scouting director position. To view the job description and/or apply, please click here.
