Today, PBR Virginia/DC would like to announce the return of the Unsigned Senior Games for the third summer in a row. The Unsigned Senior Games will be back at Virginia Sports Complex for the third year in a row, keeping its typical Tuesday date in early August.

Each of the past two years, the event has been well-attended by college coaches, with most of the Virginia Division I schools making an appearance and majority of the Virginia and Mid-Atlantic Division III schools. Our coverage area is blessed to have numerous options to play high level baseball in college, whether at the Division I, Division II, Division III, or junior college level. Five Virginia and DC Division III teams made the NCAA Tournament in 2018, with Randolph-Macon making a trip to the College World Series in Appleton, Wisconsin.

The Unsigned Senior Games will follow a similar format to what they have had in the past, with position players having a showcase workout followed by a game when they will face live pitching. As at any Prep Baseball Report event, all players will have their key stats measured, including 60s, arm velocities, and exit velocities, as well as video taken and added to their profiles.

The inaugural Unsigned Senior Games event in 2016 was held at Randolph-Macon College and saw 53 members of the Class of 2017 take the field, with 32 of them eventually committing to play baseball after high school.

In 2017, the Unsigned Senior Games moved to Virginia Sports Complex and had 64 players from the Class of 2018 participate, with 40 of them eventually committing to play baseball in college.
