Class 1A Sectional Predictions

It's that time of year again! The 48th Annual IHSAA Baseball State Tournament begins with sectional play tomorrow, Wednesday May 28th ,and will continue through Monday, June 2nd. A total of 89 teams will compete for the 1A State Title.

This year a new champion will crowned in 1A, as the five time reigning champion, Lafayette Central Catholic, will now compete for the 2A title as they moved up a class due to the Tournament Success Factor.

Here’s a look at members of the PBR Indiana staff and their Class 1A sectional predictions, in bracket order (Bold Numbers are the Sectional Number, Listed Teams are predicted winners of each game).
