Colorado Team Rankings

The Prep Baseball Colorado staff is currently putting out weekly rankings on Monday. As we move closer to the end of the league season, we have made a conscious decision to rank each of the classifications out to 8 teams. This is an attempt to line up with post-season play and identify those teams who might be host sites once the district tournaments roll around.
It was a wild week for Prep Baseball in Colorado with teams playing as many as 5 games in 6 days to make up for the snowy weather. We saw some movement in the classifications and welcomed new teams to our rankings. Although our top teams stayed the same, Fairview and Cherokee Trail join the 5A mix, Lewis Palmer and Fort Morgan are new to 4A, 3A added Olathe and Kent Denver, 2A saw some slight shuffling and 1A welcomed Antonito to the party.
This weeks top teams in each classification are:
5A Rocky Mountain
4A D’Evelyn
3A Eaton
2A Rye
1A Community Christian
