Pitching (6/18/18)

PBR: Why did you choose the school you did?

Kramer: I choose Winona State because it was my favorite campus that I visited.  It's the right size school for me and not too far from home.  I went to pitch in a scrimmage with the Winona team and the guys seemed really cool.  It felt right.

PBR: What other schools were you considering?

Kramer: University of Minnesota Duluth

PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you? How did your relationship develop with him?

Kramer: Coach Riley saw me play at a PBR showcase this past summer.  He was one of the first coaches to contact me afterwards.  He invited me to come visit campus and meet the other coaches.  After that visit he invited me to come back and scrimmage with the team.

PBR: Do you feel relieved now that the process is over and you can just focus on baseball and not deal with everything that goes into picking a school?

Kramer: Yes.

PBR: Was there one deciding factor that put your choice over the top?

Kramer: No.  It just felt like the right school and team for me.

PBR: Who has helped you the most to get to where you are today?

Kramer: My Mom....she is my biggest fan and has always been there for me no matter what.

PBR: What were your expectations about the recruiting process? Was it easy/difficult?

Kramer: Because of PBR schools actually noticed me so that made it easy.  Several coaches contacted me after that one event last summer so that gave me a lot of options.

PBR: What plans does the coaching staff have in store for you in your freshman season?

Kramer: Get stronger and through harder

PBR: What is your most memorable baseball moment to date?

Kramer: Throwing a 1-hit shutout in my first varsity start

PBR: Who is the best player that you have competed against?

Kramer: Ben Palmer from Totino Grace.  He knows how to work the count.
