Woodlawn HS 10 vs Walnut Ridge HS 1

Woodlawn HS beat Walnut Ridge HS 10 to one in the first round of the Rumble of the Rock tournament at Arkansas Baptist HS.
Woodlawn received a solid start from 2015 RHP Taylor Stitt. He threw 6 innings giving up just 1 run, scattering 7 hits, and striking out 6. Stitt pounded the strike zone with three pitches keeping Walnut Ridge hitters off balance.
Offensively they were led by 2015 CF JP Aiken who went 2 for 4 with a double 3 RBIs and 2 runs scored. Woodlawn Advanced to the finals as Walnut Ridge played Arkansas Baptist HS in the consolation game.

Horatio HS 7 vs Arkansas Baptist HS 6 (6 innings)

Horatio HS beat Arkansas Baptist HS 7 to 6 in a back and forth contest, in the first round of the Rumble of the Rock Tournament, hosted by Arkansas Baptist HS.
Horatio received a big game from junior right-hander Hunter Lansdell, who pitched a complete game. Giving up 3 earned runs striking out 8. He command his fastball consistently for strikes and flashed a good breaking ball to keep hitters off balance.
The Lions had a balanced day offensively getting quality at bats up and down the line up. They used their run game and situational hitting to scratch out 7 runs. Walnut Ridge played Arkansas Baptist HS in the consolation game, while Horatio advanced to the finals against Woodlawn HS.
