Here is a look at some of the scores and highlights from the action around the state last evening.

Morristown West 9, Jefferson County 8
Josh McDonald went 2-for-3 with a home run, a double, and 3 RBI, Andrew Bartley had a home run and 4 RBI, and Will Heflin went 5-for-5 with 2 doubles and an RBI in the win. Tanner Collins worked 4 scoreless innings with 4 strikeouts to pick up the win in relief.

Dobyns-Bennett 10, David Crockett 7
Parker Hill had a triple and 2 RBI, Evan Mahaffey had a double and an RBI, and Logan Hullette went 3-for-5 with 3 RBI in the win. Matt Taylor worked 6.1 innings with 4 strikeouts to get the win on the mound.

Brighton 10, Dyer County 8
Bryson Morgan had a triple and 2 RBI, and Dalton Rushing went 3-for-3 with a double and 3 RBI in the victory. Will Dunlap picked up the win in relief, working 3 innings with 1 run allowed.

Oak Ridge 5, Anderson County 4
Bryson Armes went 2-for-3 with 2 doubles and an RBI, and Logan Williams, Gavin Warrington, and Ian Campbell each hit a double in the extra inning win. Williams also picked up the win in relief, working 3 innings with 4 strikeouts.

Morristown East 11, South Doyle 1
Cade Davis went 2-for-3 with a double and 4 RBI, Jake Dent went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI, and Aaron Smith went 3-for-3 with 2 RBI in the win. Dent also went the distance on the mound, handing out 10 strikeouts

Goodpasture Christian 17, Trousdale County 5
Levi Thomas had a grand slam, David Wilson went 3-for-4 with a home run, a triple, and 5 RBI, and Gage Gregory went 2-for-3 with a double and 2 RBI in the win. Wyatt Blessing allowed 3 earned runs in 5 innings with 5 strikeouts to get the win on the mound.

Ootlewah 10, McMinn County 6
Mitch Duncan went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI, Andrew Manning had a double and 3 RBI, London Elrod hit a triple, and Jordan Artime had a double in the win. Caleb Collins worked 5.2 innings with 5 strikeouts to get the win on the mound.

Hardin Valley 11, West 1
Ryder Green went 3-for-4 with 2 home runs and 8 RBI in the win. Tyler Thompson allowed 1 run in 5 innings with 7 strikeouts to pick up the win on the mound.

Greenville 3, Cumberland Gap 2
Cody Hartness had a double, and Chase Wagner and Nash Newberry each had an RBI in the victory. James Duer worked 2 scoreless innings with 3 strikeouts to pick up the win in relief.  

Boyd Buchanan 5, Grace Baptist-Chattanooga 2
Brandon Willingham went 2-for-3 with a home run and 2 RBI, Seth Rogers hit a solo home run, and Cade Evans hit a double in the win. Casey Pate picked up the win on the mound, with 6 strikeouts in 4 innings and only 1 earned run allowed.
