Scores and highlights from around Kentucky for April 3.

Louisville recruit Andrew Harrington racked up 16 K’s in the complete game 3-hitter.  Alex Crowder had 3 hits, and Troy Squires and Zachery Ditto each collected 2 hits in the win.  Jonathan Thrasher had 2 hits in the loss for Butler.

Greg Laughlin threw a complete game 4-hitter and racked up 13 K’s.  Ryan Hart went 3-3 with a double, and Jacob Clair added 2 hits for PRP.

Blake Rose went 2-4, and Jeffery Chapuran went 2-4 with a triple and scored 2 runs.  Nick Richmond picked up the win, tossing 3 scoreless innings in relief with 4 K’s.

Tyler Adams went 2-3 with a triple and 2 RBI, and Troy Merida stroked 2 hits and drove in 3 runs.  Jarred Jones went 5 innings on the mound to record the win.

Wando (SC) 10  (No.23) South Laurel 7

Kipp Moore went 2-2 with a triple and 2 RBI, and Kam Bruner drove in 4 runs as Shelby County remained on a roll. 

Ryle 7  Boone County 1
Mason Forbes drove in 2 runs with a single as Ryle broke open a close game with 4 runs in the 5th inning.

Fern Creek 8  Southern 0
Evan Flener and Brian Smith each drove in 2 runs, and Trey Blandford fired a complete game 2-hit shutout for Fern Creek.

Owen County 8  Valley 4
Travis Hearne homered in the win for Owen County.  Sonny Berry added 2 hits and 3 RBI.  Jarrod Ball racked up 8 K’s in going the distance for the win.

Bardstown 5  Beth Haven 3
Shunta Muto and Matt Bond doubled in the win for Bardstown.  Andrew Gordon scattered 3 hits over 5 innings to pick up the win.

Bethlehem 4  Berea 2 (8 innings)
Conner Ballard went 2-3 and scored 2 runs.  John Riney picked up the win in relief.

Berea 4  Bethlehem 3
Berea scored 3 runs in the first inning and held on for the win.  Daniel Wilkerson had two of Berea’s four hits in the game.  Devin Strong went 6 1/3 innings to pick up the win.

Danville 12  Russell 5
Will Graham went 2-3 with 3 RBI to power Danville.  Jack Graham threw 6 2/3 innings of scoreless relief to pick up the victory. 

Scott County 9  Crawfordsville 8
Ryon Bean went 2-4 with a double and 2 RBI to lead Scott County.  Brad Seahorn pitched 4 innings to pick up the win.

Richmond (NC) 11  Corbin 2

Mercer County 20  Whetston (OH) 15
JT Long and Layne Peavler each collected 3 hits as Mercer County won the slugfest.  Two of Long’s 3 hits were doubles. 

Spayberry (GA) 18  Franklin County 5 (5 innings)
David Current homered in the loss for Franklin County.

Henry County 6  Atherton 5
Landon New had 2 hits, and Seth Williams doubled home 2 runs as Henry County won its third consecutive game. 

Montgomery County 11  Geneseo 2
Sam Lee, Chas Newkirk, Jordan Nester, and Ben Gulley all drove in 2 runs apiece to power the Indians.  Dustin Stevens scattered 5 hits over 7 innings to pick up the win.

Breckinridge County 9  Seneca 7
Isaiah Sosh drove in 3 runs and Dalton Payne drove in 4 to lead Breckinridge County to the win.

Dixie Heights 9  Conner 8
Seth Caple went 3-4 with a RBI, and David Helton went 2-3 with 2 RBI to lead Dixie Heights. 

DuPont Manual 12  Oldham County 9
Andrew Olson collected 3 hits and 4 RBI to lead Manual to the victory.

Wayne County 15  Mason County 3 (5 innings)
Tanner Bell tripled and drove in 3 runs while Dayan Shelton went 3-4 with a double and 3 RBI.  Ryan Cordero added 2 doubles and 3 RBI as well as Wayne County scored early and often in the win.

Danville 8  Western Hills 7 (9 innings)
Jack Graham drove in the winning run in the bottom of the 9th for Danville.  John Roney picked up the win throwing 2 innings of scoreless relief.

Jordan Nester went 2-3 with 2 RBI in the loss for Montgomery County.
