Another rainy day across The Commonwealth made for a very abbreviated schedule of games yesterday.  Here is a look at scores and highlights from games that were able to be played.

Whitley Co 3, Hancock Co 1
Ryan Short went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI, and Austin Ysidro added 2 hits in the Whitley County victory.  Tyler Downs scattered 5 hits and struck out 6 in going the distance for the win.

Harlan Co 3, Middlesboro 2 (8 Innings)
Tyler Cornett went 2-for-2, and Connor Leisge allowed 1 earned run and struck out 10 in 7 innings of work.  Jared Sizemore struck out 2 in a scoreless inning of relief to pick up the win.

Rowan Co 6, Russell 3
Davis Sachs went 2-for-3, and Justin Graham doubled and drove in 2 runs as Rowan County improved to 7-0 on the season.  Tyler Thacker scattered 5 hits and struck out 7 in throwing a complete game for the win.

Allen Central 18, Phelps 4 (5 Innings)
Tanner Hamilton went 2-for-3 with a RBI, and Kane Taylor doubled home 3 runs as Allen Central scored 11 runs in the first inning in the rout.  Cameron Blevins and Brian Handshoe each added doubles in the win.  Winning pitcher Dalton Lewis allowed 2 earned runs and struck out 6 in 4 innings of work.
