No. 1 Cathedral 4 No. 8 Columbus East 1 

No. 3 Munster 8 No. 10 Lake Central 4 – Munster scored six runs in the first inning and never looked backed. Sam Bell got the win throwing five innings allowing four runs and striking out seven. John Pistas doubled and drove in two runs, Tom DeCero was 2-4 with a double and a run, Grant Rademacher drove in a run and scored once, and Joe Bryant was 2-4 with a run. 

No. 6 McCutcheon 9 Twin Lakes 3 – Jordan Young got the win throwing four innings allowing two unearned runs, just one hit, and striking out eight. Braden Giroux led the offense going 2-4 with three RBI and two runs scored. Sean Roginski doubled, drove in two runs and scored once. Caleb Jordy doubled and scored twice. 

No. 7 Hobart 12 Highland 2 – Braden Niksich got the win throwing all six innings allowing two runs on five hits and striking out seven. Tyrus Joseforsky was 2-2 with a double, homerun, two RBI, and five runs scored and Brandon Murray was 2-4 with four RBI. Drey Deveraux was 3-3 with a double and two runs scored. 

3A Top 10

No. 1 Andrean 7 Lowell 0 – Matt Desomer got the win on the mound throwing five shutout innings allowing just three hits and striking out ten, at the plate he was 1-3 with a RBI and a run. Chase Dawson was 1-3 with two RBI and a run, Cox and Terry each had a hit and drove in a run, and Chandler was 1-2 with two runs scored. 

West Lafayette 6 No. 3 Crawfordsville 5 F/8 – West Lafayette scored in the 5th-8th to get the win. Spencer Ronchetto was 3-5 with a double and run scored, Kyle Turner was 3-4 with a RBI and a run, and Everett Gorup triple and drove in two runs. 

No. 4 Hanover Central 11 River Forest 0 – Riley Welch threw four shutout innings to get the win allowing just one hit and striking out seven. At the plate he was 2-2 with two RBI and a run scored. Jesse Wilkening led the offense going 3-3 with two RBI and two runs scored. Daniel Balick was 1-3 with a RBI and a run, Dylan Knutsen drove in a run and scored twice, and Dyllan Bakker was 1-1 with two runs. 

Bloomington South 9 No. 7 Jasper 8 – South scored seven runs in the 5th inning to take the lead for good. Joe Crider was 2-4 with a homerun and two RBI and Rex McHaley was 3-3 with a RBI to lead the offense. Isaac Barrow was 2-3 with a RBI and a run scored, Henry Niswander double and drove in a run, and Jordan Parrott had a hit, RBI, and a run scored. 

No. 10 Griffith 7 Kankakee Valley 0 – Matt Potacki got the win throwing 4.1 innings allowing two hits and striking out two. Matt Colomes had a big day at the plate going 3-3 with a double, homerun, three RBI, and three runs scored. Robbie Hernandez was 3-4 with a double, RBI, and a run scored. Josh Terzial and Anthony Quintero each went 2-3 with a RBI and Brandon Garcia was 3-3 with two runs scored. 

2A/1A Top 10

No. 1 South Spencer 11 North Posey 1 – Malin Webb got the win throwing five shutout innings allowing just one hit and striking out four. At the plate he was 2-4 with a double, RBI, and two runs. Trevor Lehr was 4-4 with two doubles, a RBI, and a run scored and Nathan Kuester was 2-4 with a double, two RBI, and a run. Tyler Schneider, Zeth Young, and Isaac Rowan each had a hit and drove in two runs. Chandler Roberts was 1-2 with four runs and Ryan Wilkinson was 2-3 with a RBI and two runs. 

No. 2 Lafayette Central Catholic 15 Lafayette Harrison 0 – Hayes Cronk threw four shutout innings for the win allowing just three hits and striking out seven. Evan Kennedy had a big day at the plate going 3-3 with a double, triple, five RBI, and a run scored. Coy Cronk was 2-4 with a homerun and two RBI and Nigel Hensley was 2-2 with two RBI and three runs. Pete Metzinger was 3-4 with two doubles, a RBI, an two runs and Anthony Beruman was 2-2 with a double, RBI and two runs scored. 

No. 3 Delphi 7 Pioneer 1 – Kolby Myer got the win throwing six innings allowing one unearned run on two hits and striking out six. Ostin Clark has a big day at the plate going 2-4 with a double, homerun, and four RBI to lead the offense. Blaine Walters was 1-2 with a solo homerun and two runs scored and Myer was 2-4 with three runs scored. Jason Sterrett and Kolby Kinzie each went 1-3 with a RBI. 

No. 7 Alexandria Monroe 4 Muncie Southside 0 – Blaize Kelly threw a four hit shutout striking out five in the win, he also drove in a run/ Jonah Jerrils was 2-3 with a run, Owen Young drove in a run, and Jake Clegg and Jessie Gossett each went 1-2 with a run. 

Crown Point 4 No. 8 Bishop Noll 3 – Austin Thomas threw a complete game allowing one earned run, seven hits, and striking out four. Glenn Hecht and Mitchell Kooi each drove in a run, Tyler Downing was 2-2 with two doubles and a run scored, and Jake Benich was 2-3 with two runs scored.

More Highlights

Bellmont 4 FW South Side 2 – Jake Hall went 2-3 with a run scored and Ryan Okoniewski got a hit and drove in two runs. Parker Zeser was 2-4 with a double and a run and Kyle Wittwer was 2-3. Brett Baker hit a solo homerun. Mason Shinaberry went five innings to get the win giving up one unearned run on three hits and striking out nine. 

Benton Central 6 Rensselaer Central 4 – Brett Shoults was 2-3 with two RBI and Henry Fisher was 2-4 with a RBI and a run scored. Joel Huff was 1-3 with a RBI, Jacob Turner was 2-2 with a run scored, and Cole Jackson was 2-3 with a double and a run scored. Marcus Patterson threw the final four innings to get the win allowing on unearned run and striking out three.

Cloverdale 9 South Putnam 5 – Brayden White threw a complete game to get the win allowing three earned runs on four hits and striking out 14. Tyler Carter, Brantson Scott, and Joey Martin each went 3-4 with two RBI and Duke Duff was 3-5 with two runs scored. 

Crown Point 4 Bishop Noll 3 – Austin Thomas threw a complete game allowing one earned run, seven hits, and striking out four. Glenn Hecht and Mitchell Kooi each drove in a run, Tyler Downing was 2-2 with two doubles and a run scored, and Jake Benich was 2-3 with two runs scored. 

Delta 13 Muncie Burris 4 – Tate Stone was 1-2 with two RBI and two runs, Colin McCaslin wa 1-2 with three RBI and a run scored, and Trey Bland doubled and scored three times. Nick Maloney and Jared Tomlin each drove in a run and scored once. 

FW Concordia 5 Columbia City 0 – Mitch Paradine got the win throwing a complete game shutout allowing just three hits. Nick Bradley tripled and drove in a run. 

FW North Side 5 Leo 3 – Ethan Caywood got the win throwing five innings allowing three runs. Zach McKinstry threw the final two innings allowing two hits and striking out two. Dakota Reinking went 1-3 with two RBI, Brett Jones and Roland Deaton each had a hit and a RBI, and Wes Stark doubled, drove in a run, and scored once. 

Gibson Southern 12 Mt. Carmel (IL) 0 – Caleb Wagner got the win throwing four shutout innings allowing one hit and striking out eight, he also hit a solo homerun. Dillon Whitten was 2-3 with a double, three RBI, and a run scored, Austin Hill was 2-2 with a double, two RBI, and two run, Reed Farmer was 2-3 with a triple, RBI, and two runs, and Brooks Martin double, drove in two, and scored twice. 

Guerin Catholic 3 Cardinal Ritter 2 F/9 – Cody Brazill went six innings allowing two runs on four hits, but got a no decision. Luke Buehler got the win throwing three perfect innings striking out two. At the plate Beuhler went 2-4 with a RBI. Matt Labus drove in a run and scored once and Jamie Ostrom also drove in a run. 

Lakewood Park Christian 7 Fremont 5 – Hunter Yoder led the offense going 2-3 with a RBI and three runs scored. Jared Gerke was 1-3 with three RBI and a run scored and Trent day was 2-3 with two doubles and a RBI. Scott Boroff went 6.2 innings allowing one run on six hits and striking out five for the win. 

Morgan Township 24 Oregon Davis 7 – Jake Koselke led the offense going 3-6 with a double, five RBI, and a run scored. Jacob Hernandez was 3-5 with four RBI, Austin Abbett was 2-4 with two RBI and three runs scored, Dalton Kizior was 2-5 with three RBI and four runs scored, and Nick Donner was 2-3 with two RBI and two runs. 

North Knox 12 Loogootee 6 – Shanson Lamb had a big day at the plate going 3-5 with a homerun and four RBI. Jordan Meurer was 2-4 with two RBI and two runs and Brett Ridgeway double, drove in two runs, and scored twice. 

Northeast Dubois 10 White River Valley 3 - Reid Haas got the win throwing the final four innings allowing no runs, two hits and striking out six.  Jaxon Denu was 3-3 with a double, RBI, and a run, Nolan Rasche was 2-4 with two RBI and a run, Cameron Riecker was 2-4 with a double, RBI, and two runs, and Bill Schepers was 2-3 with a double, RBI, and two runs.  

Terre Haute North 8 Sullivan 0 – Tony Smodilla got the win throwing four shutout innings allowing two hits and striking out five. TJ Collett had a big day at the plate going 3-3 with a triple, homerun, four RBI, and two runs scored. Chase Jones was 2-2 with a RBI and Jonathan Eilbracht was 1-2 with four runs scored.
