Niles North 3 No. 6 Mount Carmel 10 MORE
The Caravan did their damage in the first two innings, scoring seven runs, capped by a three-run Anthony Herron homer to center field. Herron got his fourth and fifth RBIs of the game on a two-run single in the 6th when Mount Carmel really began to pull away.

DeKalb 2 Plainfield East 15 MORE
Seven runs in the 1st and 3rd innings granted the Benagals a 15-0 lead that was too much for the Barbs. East's pitchers Ryan Louck, Ethan Flynn, and Billy Pierce combined to throw five innings and allowed just two runs on three hits and three walks and struck out 13 batters.
Winnebago 3 DeKalb 9 MORE
The Barbs had an 8-0 lead after two innings and it helped having Noah Valin be the team's leadoff man. He scored three times and had two triples and scored three times. John Brei drove in two runs on two hits, including a run-scoring double in the 1st.
Corliss 0 Kenwood 17 MORE
Broncos starter Cameron Hill got 13 of his 15 outs via the strike out and went the full five innings, allowing only one hit. Brendon Bradford, Brandon Green, and Zamarion Hatcher all recorded two hits and two runs for Kenwood.
Loyola Academy 5 St. Patrick 0 MORE
The first inning was all the Ramblers needed, all five of their runs were scored at the start of the game. Each of Loyola's four hits came in the inning, but the biggest was from Jason Vrbancic's two-run homer. On the mound, Henry Haracz and Joe McKermitt combined to allow just two hits and struck out eight.
