Brad Demkovich
pitched a four-hitter with five strikeouts and no walks. Mike Addante had two of Jacob's four hits off Plainfield North’s Josh Garner.

No. 9 Oak Park 8, No. 4 Providence Catholic 3
Hank Christie
pitched a three-hitter with nine strikeouts and Connor Nelson hit a home run for the Huskies in the battle of premiere programs.

No. 5 Mount Carmel 11, Oak Lawn 1
Sophomore Alek Thomas slugged two home runs and had five RBI for the Caravan. Jeremy Houston added two doubles and A.J. Houston drove in a pair. Connor Spear struck out eight in the five-inning victory.

No. 8 Brother Rice 6, Lockport 2
Ryan Kutt
did it all in the victory for Brother Rice. At the plate, he went 2-for-3, HR, 3 RBI. He also started on the mound for the Crusaders; 5 IP, 7 H, 2 R, 0 ER, 7 K, 2 BB’s. Gavin Lovesky went 1-for-3 with a double in the loss.

Naperville Central 3, No. 10 Joliet Catholic 1
Zac Bianucci
pitched five innings and teamed up with two relievers on a no-hitter for Naperville Central. Bianucci struck out four and walked one before giving way to Liam Heath and Tyler Brinker. Beau Buchanan had a two-run single in the three-run third for Naperville Central.

Joe Vascik
pitched a four-hitter and courtesy runner Alex Verta scored on an errant pickoff attempt in the fourth inning. Vascik struck out six and walked three.

No. 22 Highland 2, Breese Central 1
Jordan Smith
had an RBI double before scoring on Chris Dickman’s single as Highland scored two in the top of the sixth to erase a 1-0 deficit. Matt Bayer and Sam Greene limited Breese Central to five hits. Mitchel Rule went the distance for Breese Central.

Hinsdale Central 4, No. 24 Champaign Central 3
Andrew Zapka
went 2-for-4 with two RBI and earned the victory in relief.

No. 25 St. Joseph Ogden 4, Salt Fork 1
Colton Carr (3-0) struck out 10 and had two hits and two RBI in the victory.

Brady Hough
went 2-for-3 with a HR, 3 RBI, a run and Braedon Blackford was 2-for-2, RBI, run and 2 BB's for the Irish. Adam Christianson chipped in two doubles and two RBI for the Potter's in the loss.

had two RBI and Harrison Hayes singled and doubled for the Friars.

RBI single in the fourth inning was the difference. Pasquale Atteo and Jake Arndt teamed up on the shutout for the Knights.

Alex Schram
allowed three hits in six innings and Jacob Hennessy recorded the final three outs. Jason Neville drove in the lone run off St. Charles East pitcher Niko Klebosits with an RBI single in the fourth. St. Charles East won on the other end of a 1-0 score on Saturday.

Brett Riegler
went 2-for-3 with an RBI in the loss for the Mustangs.

DePaul Prep 14, Lisle 4
Jake Patzelt
and Carmelo Reyes had three hits apiece for DePaul. Nathan Reyes scored four runs.

Grayson Sanchez
and Austin Straley had three hits apiece for the Rams.

Gabe Panza
hit a three-run homer and Tanner Sohst had three RBI in the victory.

Palatine 7, South Elgin 2
Winning pitcher Chris Refka went 2-for-2 and Danny Schneberger doubled and drove in a pair for the Pirates. Refka allowed one earned run on seven hits in his complete-game victory.

Joe Palacios
pitched a three-hitter with six strikeouts for the Meteors. A.J. Alarcon pitched well in defeat for Shepard.

Sacred Heart-Griffin 9, Glenbrook South 8
Brian Zanger
went 3-for-4 with a two-run double that tied the score at 8 in the bottom of the sixth, and Michael Healey followed with an RBI single for the Cyclones. Simon Farber had three hits for Glenbrook South.

McHenry 7, Hononegah 5
Nick Lahrman’s
two-run homer in the top of the seventh broke a 5-5 tie as McHenry gained a doubleheader split. Justin Celeski went 3-for-3 with a home run for McHenry.

Winning pitcher Peyton Dillingham went 4-for-4 and Mitch Fairfield hit a home run for Normal West. Tyler Pennington had three hits for Cary-Grove.

Jake Jones
allowed an unearned run on three hits while striking out eight in five innings and drove in two runs for Oak Forest.

York 7, Rolling Meadows 4
Mike O’Malley
had three hits and Kevin Lipkin had two hits and an RBI for the Dukes.

pitched six innings of two-hit ball and Joe Butler had three RBI for Minooka.

Michael Sebby’s
RBI double in the bottom of the eighth won it for Glenbard East. Sebby stuck out 10 in 7⅔, and Ryan Schefske retired the only batter he faced for the win. Mark Molitor had a two-run triple in the top of the seventh for WIllowbrook.
