No. 1 Cathedral 15 Lawrence North 0 – Ashe Russell threw all five innings allowing just three hits and striking out 10 to get the win. At the plate he was 2-4 with a double, grand slam, six RBI, and three runs, Evan Whigham was 3-3 with a double, three RBI, and two runs, and Gary Schorr was 3-3 with a double, three RBI, and a run. 

No. 2 Floyd Central 5 St. X (KY) 1 – Kyle Beach threw a complete game allowing one earned run, three hits, and striking out five to get the win. At the plate he was 2-3 with a double and two RBI, Brandon Smith was 1-3 with a double and three runs, and Ross Lundy and Evan Jewell each went 1-3 with a RBI. 

No. 5 Fishers 9 No. 19 Avon 1 – Brandon Yoho got the win throwing a complete game allowing one unearned run, two hits, and striking out seven. At the plate he was 2-4 with a RBI, Andy Bennett, Brad Burton, and Nicholas Podlogar went 2-4 with a run, and Jacob Totman was 1-4 with a RBI and a run. 

No. 8 Noblesville 10 Laf. Jefferson 2 – Trevor Salmon got the win throwing five innings allowing one run on two hits while striking out five. Bret Rundle was 2-4 with a double and four RBI, Conner Christman was 1-2 with a double, three RBI, and two runs, and Vinnie Essig was 3-3 with a triple, homerun, RBI, and three runs. Zack St. Pierre was 2-2 with a double, RBI, and three runs. 

No. 9 Franklin Central 10 Decatur Central 2 

No. 10 Bloomington South 7 Southport 4 – Henry Niswander and Chase Daab each went 2-3 with two RBI and a run, Niswander doubled. Gage Rogers was 2-2 with two runs, Jordan Parrott was 1-3 with a run, and JC Lukens was 1-3 with two RBI. 

No. 11 Columbus North 7 Lawrence Central 6 – North scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh with a walk off SF from Cody Burton. Burton also hit a solo homerun, Canaan Baum was 2-4 with a RBI and a run, Christian Glass was 1-3 with a RBI, and Collin Lollar was 2-3 with two runs.   

No. 12 McCutcheon 15 Laf. Harrison 2 – Braden Giroux was 2-4 with four RBI and two runs, Jordan Young was 2-4 with a homerun and four RBI, and Sean Roginski was 3-3 with a double, RBI, and three runs scored. Young got the win throwing four innings allowing two runs on six hits while striking out six. 

No. 20 Terre Haute South 12 Riverton Parke 0 – Grant Ellis doubled and drove in three runs and Justin Jenkins drove in two runs. 

No. 21 Brownsburg 12 No. 15 Westfield 4 – Comer was 2-4 with a double, three RBI, and three runs scored, Sampen was 1-4 with two RBI, and Houston was 2-4 with a double, two RBI, and two runs scored. Mears threw six innings to get the win allowing four runs, five hits, and striking out eight. 

No. 22 Jeffersonville 10 Providence 0 – Josh Burke threw a five inning no hitter allowing one walk and striking out four to get the win. 

Chesterton 8 No. 25 Portage 5 – Brandon Roeske got the win throwing six innings allowing three runs on three hits while striking out three. Jeremy Jaeger was 2-3 with a triple, two RBI, and a run, Cameron O’Brian was 2-4 with two RBI and a run, and Cole Teal was 1-4 with a RBI and a run scored.

 

3A Top 10

No. 4 Heritage 12 Southern Wells 2 – Jacque Jacquay threw all five innings for the win allowing two unearned runs, three hits, and striking out two. Branson Dossen was 2-2 with three RBI and three runs, Nathan Roop was 2-3 with a double, two RBI, and two runs, and Cole Gerardot and Austin Conrad each had two hits and two runs. 

No. 10 Lebanon 11 No. 6 Crawfordsville 6 – Brantley Fortner was 3-3 with a triple, two RBI, and two runs and Colton Ranney was 3-5 with a double, two triples, three RBI, and a run scored to lead the offense. Jackson Bennett was 2-4 with a double, RBI, and a run and Nick Starkey was 2-4 with a run scored. Bennett got the win throwing a complete game. 

No. 7 Norwell 13 Bellmont 3 – Dettmer got the win throwing all five innings allowing two earned runs and six hits. Tomlin was 1-3 with three RBI and a run, Hayes was 2-3 with a double, homerun, two RBI, and three runs, and Dettmer was 2-3 with a double and a RBI. 

North Montgomery 7 Frankfort 6 – Chase Mahoy was 3-3 with two doubles, three RBI, and a run scored, Jalen West had two RBI and a run, and Jordan Lewis was 1-4 with a RBI and a run scored. Mitch Rice got the win throwing a complete game allowing one earned run, seven hits, and striking out five.

No. 3 Laf. Central Catholic 6 Kokomo 2 – Noah Richardson got the win throwing six innings allowing one earned run, six hits, and striking out four. Gage Ulrey was 1-1 with a double and two RBI, Adam Lovell was 2-3 with two doubles, a RBI, and a run, and Luke Schrader was 1-1 with a double and two runs. 

No. 7 Ev. Mater Dei 6 Ev. Memorial 2 

Frankton 8 No. 9 Alexandria Monroe 5 – Brycen Downs was 3-4 with a RBI and two runs, Bailey Threet was 2-4 with a double, two RBI, and a run, and Matt Kunce was 1-4 with two RBI and a run. Logan Weins got the win allowing one earned run over seven innings giving up nine hits and striking out 11. 

No. 10 Shakamak 5 Turkey Run 0 – Dylan Collins got the win throwing a one hit complete game shutout picking up 11 strikeouts in the game.

 

More Highlights

Austin 12 Eastern Pekin 0 - Austin pounded out 15 hits to support Hunter Spencer on the mound.  Offensively the Eagles were led by Tanner Craig going 4-4 with four RBI, Gavin Napier 3-4, Josh Helton 2-4 with four RBI, Aaron McIntosh 2-4 and three runs, Dakota Stashke 2-4. 

Batesville 15 Milan 0 – Austin Westerfeld got the win throwing four shutout innings allowing three hits and striking out two. At the plate he was 3-4 with a double, two RBI, and a run, Kassidy Kase was 3-4 with a double, three RBI, and two runs, Wes McKinney was 3-4 with a RBI and three runs, Bryan Hoeing was 2-2 with a double, RBI, and three runs, and Connor Shuck was 1-2 with three RBI and a run. 

Brebeuf 22 Warren Central 4 –Ben Powell had two singles, a homerun, and five RBI, Adam Iffert had two RBI singles, Nick Chambers had a RBI double, and Clay Farren drove in two runs. Marshall Farren got the win throwing all six innings allowing four runs on eight hits. 

Carroll 11 New Haven 1 – Grant Inman got the win throwing all five innings allowing one unearned run, one hit, and striking out eight. AT the plate he was 2-3 with two RBI and a run, Trevor Snyder was 2-3 with a homerun and two RBI, and Luke Brunner was 2-2 with a triple, homerun, two RBI, and two runs. 

Charlestown 7 Clarksville 2 – Drew Reich got the win throwing 5.2 innings allowing one earned run, five hits, and striking out eight. Tanner Wesp led the offense going 3-4 with a double and a RBI. 

Cloverdale 3 Linton 2 – Tyler Carter threw a complete game allowing no earned run, just two hits, while striking out six. Brayden White was 2-3 with two RBI, Carter was 1-3 with a RBI, and Kade Schroer was 1-2 with two runs scored. 

Edgewood 12 Bloomfield 2 – Nick Raventos was 2-3 with a homerun, four RBI, and two runs, Alex Driver was 2-4 with a double, RBI, and a run, and Ryan Pursell was 1-2 with a homerun and two RBI. Zeb Thrasher was 1-3 with a double, two RBI, and a run, and Michael Allender was 1-3 with RBI and a run. 

Fountain Central 10 Covington 5 – Wayde Bentley was 2-3 with a double, three RBI, and two runs, Cole Snyder was 2-4 with a homerun, three RBI, and a run, and Isaac Trueblood was 2-3 with two RBI and two runs. Jaren Oakley was 2-2 with a RBI and Tyler DePugh was 2-3 with two runs. 

FW North Side 11 Bishop Dwenger 3 – Ethan Caywood got the win throwing six innings allowing no earned runs, three hits, and striking out four. Keegan Carroll was 2-4 with two RBi and two runs, Zack McKinstry and Brandon York each went 2-3 with a RBI and a run, and Brett Jones was 2-4 with a RBI and a run. 

Greenfield-Central 12 Knightstown 2 – Seth Adams was 3-3 with a homerun, six RBI, and two runs, Slater Rushw as 3-3 with two doubles and three runs, and Mitch Gibson was 1-3 with a double, two RBI, and a run. 

Hauser 13 Oldenburg 3 – Eric McMullen got the win throwing five innings allowing three runs on four hits while striking out five. Jared Schon was 2-2 with a double, two RBI, and two runs, Colten Wieler was 1-2 with two RBI and a run, and Isaiah Martin drove in two and scored once. 

Heritage Christian 15 Guerin Catholic 2 – John Bryant was 3-4 with a double, RBI, and two runs, Ryan Hutton was 1-1 with two RBI, and Brock Grinstead was 1-4 with two RBI and a run. Collin Marsh got the win throwing two innings in relief allowing no runs, one hit, and striking out two. 

Heritage Hills 15 Wood Memorial 2 – Mason Becher was 3-4 with three RBI and two runs, Tyler Ward was 3-5 with a triple, RBI, and two runs, Drew Grass was 2-2 with a double, two RBI, and two runs, and Nick Waninger doubled and drove in two runs. Logan Wilkerson got the win throwing four innings allowing no earned runs, five hits and striking out nine. 

Homestead 10 Columbia City 1 – Cameron Miller threw a complete game for the win allowing one run on five hits while striking out eight. Luke Landrigan was 4-4 with a RBI and a run, Tyler Zimske was 1-3 with a homerun and two RBI, and Adam Newport was 2-4 with a double, three RBI, and two runs. 

Indian Creek 9 Beech Grove 7 – Brenden Smith was 2-3 with a double, homerun, three RBI, and two runs, Ryan Decker was 2-3 with a run, Dyson Heminger and Austin Wethington each went 1-4 with a RBI and a run, and Tyler Parks was 1-4 with a RBI. 

Jac-Cen-Del 11 Trinity Lutheran 1 – Bradley Davis was 3-3 with two RBI and a run, Dominque Norman was 2-3 with a double, two RBI, and two runs, and Alex Schoettmer was 1-4 with two RBI and two runs. Tyler Huff got the win throwing six innings allowing one run on four hits while striking out four. 

Lake Central 11 Valparaiso 2 – Ben Nisle homered and drove in four runs, Blake Bosold was 2-4 with two RBI, and Chuck Alexa was 2-2 with a RBI and two runs scored. 

Lanesville 10 Henryville 7 – John Ferre was 1-3 with a double, three RBI, and a run, Greg Daly was 2-3 with a RBI and a run, and Steve Shaffer was 2-4 with a double, two RBI, and two runs. Josh Barnes drove in two runs and Ryan McCubbins was 2-4 with a double and two runs. 

Lapel 10 Muncie Central 5 – Kyle Hawkins got the win throwing six innings allowing two earned runs, five hits, and striking out seven. Todd Sherwood was 3-4 with a double and four RBI, Cade Luke was 2-4 with a double and four RBI, and Kallen Brooks double, drove in a run, and scored twice.

Leo 15 South Adams 5 – Tanner Hartman was 3-3 with two RBI and four runs, Gunner Brown was 2-3 with three RBI and Luke Smitley was 2-2 with two RBI and three runs. Carter Davis was 2-4 with a RBI and three runs and Ty Sproat was 1-3 with two RBI and two runs. 

Maconaquah 17 Eastern 6 – Taylor Lamble was 3-4 with a homerun, five RBI, and two runs and Will Feller was 2-3 with a double, homerun, three RBI, and three runs. Josh Holmes was 1-2 with a triple, three RBI, and two runs, Vince Taylor was 2-3 with three RBI and a run, and Nick Love was 2-4 with a RBI and two runs. 

Michigan City 17 Merrillville 2 – Brad Pawloski was 3-4 with a double, triple, four RBI, and a run and Logan Kaletha was 2-4 with a triple, homerun, two RBI, and three runs. Brian Leach was 2-4 with a double, triple, three RBI, and two runs and Chase Clarkson was 2-4 with a RBI and two runs. 

New Palestine 10 Connersville 3 – Nick Butcher was 3-4 with two triples, two RBI, and two runs, Connor Swain was 3-4 with two doubles, a triple, two RBI, and a run, and Keegan Watson was 2-3 with a double, triple, a RBI, and two runs. Hogan Fulkerson picked up the win throwing a complete game allowing three runs on six hits while striking out five. 

North Newton 14 Wheeler 0 – Brandon Propes was 2-3 with a double, homerun, four RBI, and two runs, Jono Bigger was 2-2 with a RBI and two runs, and Kyle Mack homered and drove in three runs. Propes threw a four hitter going all four innings and striking out nine to get the win. 

North White 6 Rossville 2 – Ty Mattix threw a complete game allowing two runs on five hits while striking out six to get the win. Luke Deiner was 3-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and three runs, Calen Handress was 2-4 with a RBI and a run, and Zach Lytle was 1-4 with two RBI. 

Northview 9 Mooresville 2 – Connor Pierce was 3-4 with two RBI and a run, Tucker Stewart was 2-4 with a triple, three RBI, and a run, and Kyle Moore was 1-4 with a RBI and two runs. Joe Ball threw all seven innings for the win allowing two unearned runs, five hits, and striking out five. 

Owen Valley 10 White River Valley 3 – Ryne Heckman got the win throwing five innings allowing two runs on six hits while striking out two. Lane Timble was 3-3 with two doubles, three RBI, and a run, Chase Robert was 3-3 with a double, two RBI, and a run, and Devon Shouse was 1-2 with two RBI and a run. 

Peru 5 Northwestern 4 – Michael Richardson was 2-4 with a double, RBI, and a run, Nolan Brimbury was 1-2 with a RBI and a run, and Kreighton Ray was 1-4 with a RBI. Cameron Beauchamp got the win throwing 6.1 innings allowing four runs on seven hits while striking out nine. 

Roncalli 9 Speedway 6 – Tyler Schoettle was 2-2 with two homeruns and three RBI, Robbie Strader was 2-3 with a double, RBI, and a run, and Aaron Schnell was 1-1 with three runs. Austle Alte drove in two and scored once and Jake Hobson drove in one and scored once. 

Sheridan 17 Tipton 10 – Austin Hoover was 4-4 with two doubles, three RBI, and two runs, Bobby Perry was 2-5 with four RBI and a run, Garrett Chesney was 3-4 with a double, two RBI, and two runs, and Sam Crail was 3-4 with a double, three RBI, and a run. Jordan Kyriakopolous and Jacob Chesney each went 3-4 with a double and two RBI. 

Silver Creek 11 Corydon Central 0 – Graham Jones threw a one hit shutout going all five innings while striking out seven. At the plate he was 2-3 with a homerun and three RBI, Brooks Howell was 3-4 with a RBI and a run, Brayden Ware homered and drove in three, and Cody Razer and Brahm Whittinghill each had two hits, a RBI, and two runs. 

Switzerland County 13 Southwestern 0 – Nate Hunter threw five shutout innings allowing one hit and striking out 11. At the plate he was 2-3 with two RBI and a run, Kyle Konkle was 2-4 with two RBI and three runs, and Dalton Wagner was 1-4 with two RBI and two runs. 

Sullivan 4 Union 2 – Jarrad Klitz threw six innings to get the win allowing no earned runs, six hits, and struck out 11. Casey Garner was 1-4 with a RBI, Noble Harrison was 1-2 with a double and a run, and Johnathan Cox scored twice. 

Tell City 5 Boonville 4 F/11 – Gant Miller was 4-6 with a double and a run, Austin Paulin was 1-3 with two RBI, and Spenser Beard was 1-5 with a RBI and two runs. Chris Schaefer got the win throwing six innings in relief allowing one unearned run, four hits, and striking out two. 

Twin Lakes 15 South Newton 5 – Spencer Andrews was 2-4 with two doubles and three RBI, Evan Luzadder was 3-5 with two RBI and three runs, Dane Holmes was 2-3 with two doubles, three RBI, and two runs, Derek Roberts was 3-3 with three runs, and Kole Young was 1-2 with a double, two RBI, and two runs. 

West Noble 7 Eastside 2 – Waylon Richardons was 2-3 with a double and a RBI, Kyler Warble was 2-4 with a RBI and two runs, and Riley McFarren was 2-3 with two RBI. Levi Nelson picked up the win throwing a complete game allowing two unearned runs, six hits, and striking out three. 

Western Boone 7 Southmont 6 – Zach McMann was 1-3 with three RBI, Tyler Hale was 23 with a RBI and two runs, Clay Biesecker was 1-3 with a RBI and two runs, and Nathaniel Bye was 2-4 with a double and a run. Zach McKenzie threw two shutout inning in relief allowing no hits to get the win. 

Woodlan 13 Bluffton 2 – Brad Barker tossed a complete game to get the win allowing two runs on five hits and striking out eight. Dylan Gerig homered and drove in four, Rick Ehle was 2-4 with a homerun and three RBI, Shawn Kitzmiller was 2-3 with a homerun and three RBI, and Derrick Herschberger was 3-4 with two RBI. 

Zionsville 3 Hamilton Southeastern 2 F/8 – Kellan Elsbury took a no decision throwing six innings allowing two runs on five hits while striking out five. Ben Kocher got the win throwing the final 1.1 innings allowing two hits and striking out three. Jake Pilcher was 2-3 with a double and a RBI and Joey Mushalla was 1-4 with two runs.
