Here is a look at scores and highlights from around the state last evening.

#1 Tates Creek 4, #19 Male 3
Jaren Shelby went 2-for-3 with a HR and three RBI, and Luke Rouse went 2-for-4 with a double as Tates Creek scored a run in the bottom of the seventh for the win.  Marshall Gant worked five strong innings allowing no earned runs, and Parker Yeary picked up the win with a scoreless inning of relief.

#5 Dixie Heights 8, Bellevue 1
Nick King went 3-for-3 with a double, HR and six RBI, and Adam Daris added two hits and scored two runs in the Dixie win.  Winning pitcher Mitch Anderson allowed four hits and no earned runs in going the distance in the complete game effort.

#6 Covington Catholic 4, Ryle 3

#7 Lexington Catholic 5, #20 Beechwood 4

#8 PRP 12, #15 CAL 2
Steven Husband went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI, Jonathon Cavanaugh went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI, John Oyler went 2-for-2 with a double and RBI, Alex Miller went 2-for-3 with a double and RBI, and Andrew Bratcher added two hits and drove in a run in the PRP rout.  Jared Wilson worked six innings, allowing four hits and two earned runs for the win.

#9 Bullitt East 9, Fairdale 4
Cole Harmon went 2-for-3 with a double and RBI, Jacob Moore added two hits and drove in a run, Zac Ching doubled and had three RBI, and Jacob Bowles drove in two runs as Bullitt East broke open the game with a six-run fifth inning.

#11 McCracken County 10, Calloway County 1

#12 Ballard 5, #24 Butler 4
Jay Poullard went 2-for-3 with a double and RBI, Trevor Putzig added a double, and Jack Dillon worked four innings, allowing one earned run with six strikeouts to pick up the win.  Kyle Riesenberg pitched a scoreless seventh for the save.

George Rogers Clark 2, Boyle County 1
Steven Davis doubled, and Luke Sharrock and Jordan Williams dove in runs for GRC.  Mason Hamilton pitched a complete game, allowing four hits and one earned run to pick up the win.

Grayson County 3, Muhlenberg County 0
Jameson Vanmeter went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI, and Dylan Woodcock went 2-for-3 to lead Grayson County to the victory.  Wyatt Skaggs pitched three scoreless innings, allowing no hits and striking out four to record the win.

Taylor County 5, Bardstown 2
Tyler Frogge drove in a run and scored two, and Noah Scott added a double in the Cardinals win.  Winning pitcher Dalton Brown allowed one hit and one earned run in 5.2 innings of work.

Conner 2, Highlands 0
Cameron Ross went 2-for-3 with a double and scored two runs while also firing three hitless innings with six strikeouts for the win.

Franklin-Simpson 7, Barren County 1
Tyler Knight went 3-for-4 with a double and RBI, Logan Alderson doubled and drove in two runs, and Reed Caudill and Timothy Wimpee each doubled in the Wildcats victory.  Jacob Johnson allowed four hits and one earned run in going the distance for the win.

LCA 4, Garrard County 1
Cody Kalinowski went 2-for-3, and Andrew Barker tripled and drove in a run as LCA used a three run third inning to claim the victory.  Aaron Miley pitched five scoreless innings with 5 strikeouts in recording the win.

DuPont Manual 8, North Hardin 2
Jake Rist went 2-for-4 with a double and RBI, and Jarrett Harness drove in two runs in the win.  Winning pitcher Joseph Tufaro allowed two hits and struck out three in four innings of work.

Logan County 6, Greenwood 5 (8 Innings)
Matt Harper went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI, Joe Holliday added two hits, Michael Riley went 2-for-4 with a RBI, and Luke Woodall went 2-for-3 as Logan County scored a run in the top of the eighth for the win.  Riley pitched six strong innings in getting a no decision.

Bowling Green 9, Apollo 0
Seaton Sheldon went 2-for-3 with two RBI, Devin Hayes went 2-for-4 with a double and RBI, Quentin Cooke went 2-for-3 with a double and RBI, and Jackson Gooding doubled and drove in three runs as Bowling Green cruised to the victory.  Carder Dallas worked five scoreless innings to pick up the win.

Marshall County 6, Carlisle County 1
Mason Wooten went 3-for-3 with a RBI, and Chase Bright and Dalton Morton each added two hits as Marshall County broke the game open with three runs in the sixth.  Dylan Greenfield allowed two hits and no earned runs over four innings for the win.

Boyd County 9, Rowan County 0
Dylan Grimm went 2-for-3 with a double, triple, and two RBI, Brock Damron went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI, and Ethan Hicks added two hits and drove in a run in the Boyd County rout.  Tanner Bryan pitched five scoreless innings to pick up the win.

Spencer County 8, Trimble County 3
Nathan Conard and Aaron French each drove in two runs, and Andrew Contreras allowed two earned runs and struck out nine in 6.1 innings to earn the win.

Christian County 10, Todd County Central 0
Dylan Joiner went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI, Koby Silvy went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI, Dixon Craft added two hits, and Dylan Barnett drove in two runs in the Christian County rout.  Chance Carner fired five scoreless innings, allowing two hits while striking out eight in the win.

Fern Creek 7, Moore 0
Evan Flener went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI, Walter Baker went 2-for-3 with a RBI, and Greg Harper drove in two runs as Fern Creek broke open a close game with five runs in the fifth inning. Trey Blandford struck out six over 5.1 scoreless innings to earn the win.

Simon Kenton 3, Holy Cross (Covington) 0
Grant Wasson went 3-for-3 with a double and RBI, and Travis Bryson went 2-for-3 and drove in a run in the win for Simon Kenton.  Sean Lawrence fired a complete game one-hitter with 12 strikeouts to earn the win.
