Scores and highlights from around the state for all the action last evening, highlighted by a two grand slam night from Elizabethtown catcher Zeke Pinkham.

#1 Central Hardin 6  DeSales 0
Britton Elmore went 2-3 with a RBI, and Josh Krupinski worked 6 shutout innings with 6 strikeouts to pick up the win.

#2 St. Xavier 7  LCA 6
In a wild finish, the teams combined to score 9 runs in the final 2 innings, and St. Xavier won with a run in the bottom of the 7th.  Sam Springer had 2 hits in the win, and Matt Lasley allowed 2 earned runs over 6 1/3 innings of work.

#4 PRP 11  Atherton 3
Hunter Johnson rung up 12 Atherton batters in 5 innings of work while Jonathon Cavanaugh went 4-4 with a double to lead the Panther offense.

Christian County 10  #6 Henderson County 6
Dixon Craft went 4-4 with 3 RBI, and Joey Deck went 2-3 with a double and RBI as Christian County pulled off the upset.  Deck worked 6 2/3 innings to pick up the win.  Kaleb Duckworth blasted 2 HR’s in the Henderson County loss.

#16 Paducah Tilghman 11  Mayfield 10

Boyle County 7  #19 Southwestern 6
Jarrett Payne went 2-3 with a double, triple, and 4 RBI to lead Boyle County.  Addison Coffey pitched 4 1/3 innings of relief to pick up the win.

#21 South Laurel 12  #20 Hazard 7

Western Hills 1  #23 Madison Central 0
Zack Barker hit a solo HR for the only run of the game, and Kyle Fisher was dominant on the mound.  Fisher worked 6 2/3 innings allowing just 1 hit with 8 K’s and Barker recorded the final out to earn the save.

#24 Adair County 8  Cumberland County 2
Trenton Watson was 4-5 at the plate, including 3 RBIs, while Soph. Josh Hardin picked up his first varsity win in his first start tossing 6 1/3 innings to move the Indians to 24-9 on the season.

Franklin Simpson 7  Allen County 0
JT Arnemann doubled, tripled, and drove in 3 runs in leading Franklin Simpson to the victory.  Reed Caudill scattered 5 hits in going the distance for the complete game shutout.

Sayre 11  Berea 3
Christian Courtney went 3-5 with 2 doubles and 3 RBI, and Ray Brewer launched a 3-run homer as Sayre cruised to the win.  Courtney also went the distance on the mound in picking up the win.

Fern Creek 7  CAL 3
Walter Baker had a 3-hit game, and Evan Flener went 2-4 with a double to lead Fern Creek.  Ryne Underwood allowed 1 earned run in going the distance for the win.

Conner 2  Lloyd 1
In a game that featured only 5 total hits and 19 strikeouts, Conner scored the winning run on an error in the bottom of the 7th.  Dustin Herrmann picked up the win in relief of starter Brady Smiley with 2 scoreless innings.  Addison Brown was the hard luck losing pitcher as he racked up 10 K’s in the game.

Bowling Green 11  Glasgow 1 (6 innings)
Joseph McIntyre went 3-4 and scored 4 runs to lead BG to the win.  Zack Borden and Ethan Wilson each rapped 2 hits to contribute to the winning effort.  Tyler Kilgus worked 5 shutout innings to record the win. 

Murray 11  Fulton City 1 (6 innings)
Zach Grogan allowed just 2 hits and struck out 13 in 6 innings for the win.  Tanner Foster doubled and drove in 4 runs, Grogan tripled and scored 3 runs, and Ryan Alderson went 2-3 with 3 RBI in the victory. 

North Laurel 3  Harlan County 2
Ethan Maxey went 2-3 with a double, triple, and 2 RBI to lead North Laurel to the win. 

Elizabethtown 15  Taylor County 3 (5 innings)
Sophomore Zeke Pinkham blasted 2 grand slam HR’s in racking up 8 RBI on the night.  

Logan County 2  Warren Central 1
Ryan Basham went the distance with 7 K’s to pitch Logan County to the win. 

Whitley County 10  Knox Central 0 (5 innings)
Alex Rose fired a 5-inning no-hitter while racking up 11 K’s in the process to lead Whitley County. 

KCD 8  Doss 1
Parker James tossed a complete game with 9 strikeouts, and also drove in 2 runs at the plate to lead KCD past Doss.

Calloway County 10  Ballard Memorial 3
Hugh Paschall collected 2 hits and 4 RBI while Connor Wagner racked up 9 K’s in the complete game effort on the mound.  Andrew Fraher and Austin Anderson each added 2 hits in the win.

Russellville 5  Hopkinsville 2
Zach Denney tripled home 2 runs and also threw a complete game allowing no earned runs with 6 K’s ti lead Russellville to the win.

Daviess County 8  Crittenden County 0
Kyle Schneider went 2-4 with a HR and 2 RBI, and Jed Arend  added 3 hits in the win.  Schneider picked up the win, racking up 5 K’s in his 3 innings of work.

Marion County 3  Nelson County 1
Michael Costello drove in 2 runs, and Levi Hayden scattered 5 hits and struck out 6 in the complete game effort.
