A look at scores and highlights around the state from yesterday's District Tournament action.

Madisonville-North Hopkins 4, Hopkins County Central 1
Jonathan Hogart and Noah Brady led North Hopkins’ offense to the win in Wednesday night’s game, going 3-4 and 2-3, respectively.  Hogart had an RBI, while Brady tallied a run and an RBI.  The two combined for 5 of the team’s 6 hits.  Justin Hallum got the win, dealing all 7 innings, striking out 9, and only allowing 3 hits. 

Daviess County 12, Apollo 7
The Panthers were led by Jack Schneider and Jed Arend, as the two combined to go 5-5 with 5 runs and 5 RBI.  Schneider hit a home run and Arend recorded a double.  Andrew Hayden and Austin Payne both had 2 hits, as well.  Nolan Johnson got the win for Daviess County.  Jakob Shuler went 2-4 with a home run for the Eagles, in the loss.

West Jessamine 5, East Jessamine 1
Mark Leonard got the win for West Jessamine, holding the Jaguars scoreless throughout his 5 innings of work.  Leonard struck out 6 and allowed only 2 hits.  Tucker Greer, Ryan Layne, and Jonathan Jackson all had 2 hits for the Colts.  The three also combined for 2 runs and 3 RBI on the night. 

Rowan County 8, Fleming County 2
Cameron Planck dominated the night, as he went 2-2 with a double, a run, and an RBI at the plate, while also tossing 5 innings of 1-hit baseball and striking out 13 Fleming County hitters.  AJ Hacker also had 2 hits for the Vikings.  TJ Miller had 2 hits and 2 RBI in the loss for Fleming County.

Lafayette 5, Lexington Catholic 4
Lafayette rallied in the 6th and 7th innings to come back and topple Lexington Catholic.  Logan Adams went 2-3 with a run, Jake Morgan went 2-4 with an RBI, and Harrison Fields had a hit and 2 RBI for the Generals.  Morgan Harris got the win, after throwing 4 innings out of the bullpen, allowing 1 run on 2 hits.  Bo Bennington and Chris Thompson had 2 hits apiece for Lexington Catholic.

DeSales 3, Butler 1
Tyler Tucker and Dustin Hollenkamp each went 1-3 with an RBI for DeSales, in route to their district championship over Louisville Butler.  Ben Newberry added 2 hits and got the win on the mound, throwing a complete-game, giving up 6 hits and 1 run with 5 strikeouts.

Campbell County 5, Scott 0
Alex Franzen dealt a complete-game shutout for the Camels, striking out 9 Scott hitters and only allowing 3 hits.  Franzen didn’t walk anyone.  Collin Teegarden led the offense, going 2-3 and scoring 3 runs in the game.  Ethan Kremer also added a hit and an RBI.

Central Hardin 10, Elizabethtown 1
Ean Barker led the Central Hardin offense, hitting a home run and recording a 2-4, 4 RBI game.  Justin Rouse and Brandt Pawley both went 2-3, as well, combining for 3 runs scored and an RBI.  Brendan Grider threw the whole game for the Bruins, allowing 5 hits and a run, while striking out 4.  Benjamin Godrey went 2-3 in the loss for Elizabethtown.
