A nice evening allowed for a lot of action on the field last evening.  Here is a look at scores and highlights from around the state.

#1 Tates Creek 16, East Jessamine 3
Luke Rouse went 3-for-4 with a double, triple, and 4 RBI, Blake Rose went 3-for-4 with 3 RBI, Jordan Fucci went 2-for-4 with a double and 3 RBI, and Kendrick Cruise had 2 hits and drove in 2 runs.  Parker Yeary pitched 3.2 scoreless innings to pick up the win.

# 3 Eastern, #22 DeSales 8
Justin Coffey went 3-for-4 with 2 HR and 3 RBI, Nicholas Oppel went 2-for-4 with a triple and 2 RBI, Cameron Watson went 2-for-4 with a double and RBI, Nick Eubanks went 2-for-4 with a double, and Brandon Gali homered and drove in 2 runs as Eastern scored 6 runs in the sixth and 2 in the seventh for the victory. 

#6 McCracken County 7, Marshall County 1
Austin Mourad went 2-for-3 with 2 doubles and a RBI, Ryan Garner went 2-for-3 with a double and 2 RBI, Nathan Williams went 2-for-4 with 2 RBI, and Cole Womack went 2-for-4 with a double in the McCracken County win. 

Butler 8, #8 PRP 3
Kyle Goodman went 4-for-4 with a RBI, and Jonathan Thrasher went 2-for-4 with a double and 3 RBI as Butler knocked off PRP.  Tyler Sturgeon struck out 7 and allowed 1 earned run over 5.2 innings to earn the win.

#11 Southern 9, Collins 6
Dre Farris went 4-for-4 with a double, triple, and 3 RBI, Zac Wiley went 2-for-3 with a double and 2 RBI, and EJ Burk went 2-for-3 with a triple for Collins.  Justin Eden struck out 6 over 5.1 innings to pick up the win.

Lafayette 12, #14 Scott Co 4

#15 Dixie Heights 12, Highlands 7
Royce McGee went 2-for-4 with a HR and 3 RBI, Nick King went 2-for-4 with a double and 2 RBI, Seth Caple went 2-for-4 with a double and 2 RBI, and Henry Kerns, Adam Daria, and Ethan Harrison each collected 2 hits in the Dixie victory.  Jonathan Breeden worked 6 innings to pick up the win.

#16 Bullitt East 7, #17 Male 1
Jacob Bowles went 3-for-4 with 2 RBI, Chase Patton went 2-for-2 and scored 3 runs, and Morgan Willis and Troy O’Bryan each added 2 hits in the Bullitt East win.  Winning pitcher Zac Ching allowed 2 hits with 4 K’s in 4.1 scoreless innings.

#18 Henderson County 10, Muhlenberg County 1
Kaleb Duckworth went 2-for-2 with a double and RBI, Ethan Meeler added 2 hits, and Marty Coursey doubled and drove in 2 runs in the Henderson County victory.  Hunter Kloke pitched a complete game, four-hitter to pick up the win. Winning pitcher Keegan Breese struck out 4 and allowed 1 earned run in 3 innings of work.

#20 Covington Catholic 5, Newport Central Catholic 1

#23 Central Hardin 7, Adair County 0
Troy Riggs went 3-for-4, Britton Elmore went 2-for-3 with a double, and Ean Barker launched a 2-run HR in the win.

#25 Graves County 6, Calloway County 2
Tyler Harlow went 2-for-4 with 2 RBI, Clayton Carrico went 2-for-3 with a double, and Ryan Travis tripled and drove in 2 runs as Graves County extended its winning streak to 14 games.  Tanner Smith scattered 6 hits and allowed 2 earned runs with 6 strikeouts in the complete game effort.

Daviess County 10, Breckinridge County 7
Zach Burton went 2-for-3 with a HR and 3 RBI, Nelson Dant went 2-for-4 with a double and RBI, and Jed Arend doubled and scored 2 runs as Daviess County scored 6 runs in the top of the seventh to pull out the win.  Nelson Dant picked up the win in relief.

Elizabethtown 4, Nelson County 3 (8 Innings)
Peyton Payne went 2-for-4 with a double and RBI, and Zeke Pinkham added 2 hits as E-Town won in extra innings.  Cody Bridges allowed 3 hits and no earned runs over 7 innings of work to pick up the win.

Grayson County 1, Ohio County 0
Logan Ramsey went 2-for-2, and Wyatt Skaggs tossed a complete game, three-hit shutout with 5 strikeouts for the win.

Greenwood 7, Warren East 4
Noah Edmonson went 2-for-4 with 2 RBI, Drew Hayles added 2 hits and drove in a run, and Michael Justice went 2-for-3 with a triple and scored 3 runs in the winning effort.  Sam Dralle allowed 3 earned runs and struck out 5 in 6.1 innings to earn the win.

Kentucky Country Day 11, Moore 8
Parker James went 4-for-4 with a double, triple, and 4 RBI, Zach Lyles went 3-for-4 with a double and 4 RBI, Mason Bennett added 2 hits and scored 3 runs, and Thomas Crockett went 3-for-4 as KCD won the slugfest.

Henry Clay 13, Simon Kenton 8
Ben Elsen went 2-for-4 with a triple and 3 RBI, Sam Jiunta went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI, and Aaron McGeorge went 2-for-4 with a triple in the Henry Clay win. 

Green County 11, Taylor County 9
Colton Bush went 4-for-5 and scored 3 runs, Levi Murphy went 2-for-3 with a double and 2 RBI, and Zachary Bale went 3-for-4 with 2 RBI as Green County scored 3 times in the top of the seventh and held on for the win.  Toby Estes allowed 2 runs over 4 innings of relief to pick up the win.

Conner 3, Bishop Brossart 2
Ryan Ward went 2-for-3 with a double, and Dillon Lockstead allowed 1 earned run over 5.1 innings for the win.  Ryan Ward didn’t allow a hit in the final 1.2 innings to earn the save.

South Oldham 1, Shelby County 0
Drew Greenwood went 3-for-3, and Eddie Mathis fired a complete game, 4-hit shutout while racking up 15 strikeouts in the win.

Union County 5, Christian County 0
Micah Brown and Jake Main each collected 2 hits, and Kyle Griffin fired a complete game, 1-hit shutout with 14 strikeouts in the winning effort.

Logan County 12, Trigg County 5
Caleb Bruner went 3-for-3 with a HR and 3 RBI, Joe Holliday went 2-for-4 with a double and 2 RBI, and Ian Woodall and Luke Woodall each added 2 hits in the win.  Winning pitcher Jordan Hendrix allowed 2 earned runs over 4 innings of work.

Murray 17, Carlisle County 0
Dustin Bevel went 2-for-2 with a HR and 4 RBI, BJ Elder went 2-for-3 with 3 RBI, and Cam Kelly went 2-for-4 with a double, RBI, and scored 4 runs in the Murray rout.  Luke Brown racked up 8 K’s in 3 hitless innings for the win.

Russell County 10, Somerset 6
Brett Kimbler went 2-for-4 with a double and 3 RBI, Grant Best went 3-for-5 with a double, Brennan Coffey went 2-for-2 with a double and 2 RBI, and Lucas Bault added 2 hits.  Ben Bertram allowed 1 earned run in 4.2 innings to earn the win.

Letcher County Central 5, Harlan County 4
Dakota Adams went 2-for-4 with a RBI, and Andrew Fields allowed 1 earned run over 5 innings to pick up the win.

Franklin County 8, Owen County 3
Dawson Willis went 2-for-4 with 2 doubles and 3 RBI, and Ben Sands went 3-for-3 with a double and 2 RBI.  Michael Hart fired a complete game no-hitter with 4 K’s for the win.


North Oldham 15, DuPont Manual 0
Peter Sohn went 2-for-2 with 2 doubles and 3 RBI, Evan Cripe went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI, and Seth Hagan doubled and drove in 2 runs.  Logan Morsman worked 5 innings, allowing 3 hits with 3 K’s in the shutout win.

Lewis County 2, Raceland 0
Jordan Doyle went 2-for-3 with a RBI, and Sammy Holder fired a complete game, 2-hit shutout with 11 K’s for the win.

Anderson County 8, Sayre 2
Dusty Puckett and Mason Baker each went 2-for-3, Brandon Eliadis went 2-for-4 with a RBI, and Lucas Durr doubled and drove in 2 runs in the Anderson County victory.  Josh Brown allowed 3 hits, 2 earned runs, and struck out 13 in going the distance for the win.

Mason County 2, Harrison County 1
Michael Sutton doubled home 2 runs and worked 6 strong innings on the mound, allowing 5 hits and no earned runs to lead Mason County to the win.

Rockcastle County 6, Southwestern 4
Lucas Jones went 2-for-4 with a double and RBI, and John Hughes and Cody Brown each drove in 2 runs apiece for Rockcastle County.  John Conelius allowed 2 earned runs over 5 innings to record the win.
