Here is a look at scores and highlights from around the state last night.

Cameron Langston went 3-for-3 with a double, triple, and four RBI, Rook Ellington went 2-for-2 with a triple and two RBI, and James Dodd doubled and drove in two runs.  Luke Seed allowed just one hit and struck out seven over five innings to pick up the win.

#8 St. Xavier 4, DeSales 1
Sam Hedges went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI, Tanner Brown went 2-for-3 with a RBI, and Adam Elliott tripled in the victory. Sam Mudd pitched a complete game three-hitter with no earned runs allowed and three strikeouts in an efficient 64 pitch effort.

#11 Bowling Green 6, Greenwood 2
Ethan Wilson went 2-for-4 with a double and RBI, Logan Haga doubled and drove in two runs, and Stuart Posey allowed three hits and one earned run while striking out eight in the complete game effort.

Ryan Henson pitched a complete game, five hit shutout with seven strikeouts to improve to 9-0 on the season.

Hunter Cromer went 3-for-5 with two doubles and two RBI, Trevor Howard went 2-for-2 with a RBI, Jake Purvis doubled and drove in four runs, and Lucas Turpin doubled and drove in two runs in the victory.

Nolan Cook went 2-for-3 with a RBI, Christian Vandgrift doubled and drove in two runs, and Max Cole added a double in the win. Cook and Brandon Roberts combined to allow two runs with cook picking up the win.

Bradley Taylor and Kaleb Justice each doubled and drove in a run, and Jack Wright and Third Bell each drove in two runs. Ethan Smock allowed just one hit and struck out nine over five innings to record the win.

Apollo 9, Evansville Harrison (IN) 1
John Robbins went 3-for-4 with 2 RBI, Jakob Shuler tripled and drove in two runs, and Zach Mooney added two RBI in the victory. Josh Maddox allowed one run over 5.2 innings to pick up the win.

North Laurel 9, Hazard 1
Matt Brooks doubled and drove in two runs, Braxton Hicks had an RBI double, and Ryan Abner drove in two runs in the win. Weston Griebel allowed just two hits in six shutout innings.

Somerset 16, Wayne Co 6
Austin Dick went 2-for-2 with a triple and three RBI, Seth Bennett went 2-for-4 with a double and RBI, Chance Stayton added three hits and two RBI, Kross Grundy drove in three runs, and Trae Harmon homered in the victory. Brian Rutherford allowed four earned runs over 5.1 innings to pick up the win.

Corbin 9, Madison Southern 3
Josh Hash and Matty Hart each had two hits, and Cole Brock tripled and drove in two runs. Michael May went the distance for the win.

DuPont Manual 12, KCD 4
Riley Noe went 3-for-3, Chris Gambert doubled twice and drove in two runs, Matthew Olson went 2-for-4 with a RBI, and Aaron Sary doubled and drove in two runs. Olson worked six innings giving up three earned runs and striking out four for the win.

Franklin-Simpson 5, Warren Central 4
Grant Harvey went 2-for-3 with a RBI, and Jackson Caudill and Jacob Curtis each doubled and drove in a run in the win. Austin Thomason struck out five over five innings of work and Rylan Thomas pitched two scoreless innings of relief for the Wildcats.

Levi Estes drove in two runs, and Shane Burns fired a complete game, two-hit shutout with seven strikeouts for the win.

Hunter Mason drove in two runs, and Evan Shields allowed three earned runs over six innings. Gentry Spigle pitched a scoreless seventh for the win.

Murray 8, Mayfield 3
Tanner Foster went 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBI, BJ Elder went 2-for-3 with two RBI, Will Shelton went 3-for-3, and Chase Nelson went 2-for-3 in the victory. Nelson also pitched a complete game, allowing three runs and striking out five.

Cameron Planck went 2-for-4 with a RBI, and Peyton Fannin drove in two runs in the shutout victory. Planck also went the distance on the mound, firing a three-hitter with 10 strikeouts.

Marcus Mullen went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI, Peyton Marcum went 2-for-3 with a double, Braden Wyatt went 2-for-3 with two RBI, and Caleb Hunt and Coalton Allen each added two hits in the win. Tyrus Baumgardner worked all five innings to pick up the victory on the mound.

Jesse Howard went 3-for-4 with two doubles and four RBI, Logan Etherington went 3-for-5 with a double and three RBI, and Parker Jackson went 2-for-2 with a double and RBI. Jackson and Parker Burge combined to allow no earned runs over six innings.
