No. 7 Norwell 9 Homestead 7 – Game story later today.

No. 9 FW Northop 3 FW Bishop Luers 1 – Collin Brockhouse and Cory Ferguson combined to throw a one hitter. Brockhouse got the win throwing four innings allowing one unearned run, one hit, and striking out six and Ferguson threw three innings striking out five. At the plate Brockhouse was 3-4 with two doubles, a triple, a RBI, and two runs scored. Tyler Huth and Corey Bloom each drove in a run.

No. 15 Penn 1 SB St. Joes 0 F/8 – Dalton Teitsma got the win on the mound throwing all eight innings allowing four hits. Penn scored in the bottom of the eighth on an error to get the win.

No. 20 Lake Central 10 Portage 0 – Antonio Majstorov threw all five innings allowing six hits and striking out four to get the win. Tony Schneider hit a grand slam and Ryan Burvan was 1-2 with two RBI and a run scored. Brenden Seren and Cody Brack each scored twice, Brack also drove in a run.

No. 21 Westfield 1 No. 14 McCutcheon 0 – Luke Dietz and Chris Ayers combined to throw a two hit shutout. Dietz went five innings allowing two hits and striking out three and Ayer threw the final two innings to pick up the win allowing no hits. Ayers drove in the lone run of the game. Bailey Partlow was 2-3 and Nathan Manworren was 1-2 with a run scored.

Adams Central 12 South Adams 4 – Isaac Soldner got the win striking out 12. Dalton Combs hit a grand slam and Conner Lengerich hit a solo homerun, is fourth of the year.

Alexandria Monroe 9 Oak Hill 1 – Blaize Kelly threw a complete game allowing one unearned run on five hits and striking out five. Derek Dinehart doubled, drove in four runs, and scored once and Jessie Gossett was 2-4 with two RBI.

Angola 12 Central Noble 8 – Markus Arnold led the offense going 3-5 with a double, three RBI, and a run scored. Skylar Parker was 2-4 with two doubles, a RBI, and two runs scored and Justin Davis was 3-4 with a double, triple, and two runs scored. Jake Roddy and Christian Bonham each doubled, drove in a run, and scored once.

Bishop Noll 7 Munster 3 – Danny Pobereyko got the win throwing all seven innings allowing three runs on three hits. Larry Crisler was 2-3 with two doubles, Anthony Fundkian was 3-4 with a double and a RBI, and Angel Figueroa was 2-3 with two runs.

Blue River Valley 19 Cambridge City Lincoln 9 – Pete Wissel had a huge day at the plate going 4-5 with two doubles, a homerun, seven RBI, and four runs scored. Beau Wilson was 2-4 with two RBI and a run, Eli Spardlin was 2-4 with two doubles, a RBI, and four runs scored, and Kyle Young drove in two runs and scored once.

Charlestown 12 Brownstown 2 – Darren Taylor got his sixth win of the year on the mound. Ryan Jones and Drew Reich each went 3-3, Jones had two doubles and Reich had two RBI.

Edinburgh 7 Hauser 5 – Trevor Armel led the offense going 2-4 with a double, homerun, four RBI, and two runs. Kevin Johnson was 203 with a RBI and two runs, Eric Cravens was 2-4 with a RBI, and Sammy Wilkerson was 2-4 with a run scored.

Elkhart Christian 15 Howe 5 – Caleb Stayton hit another homerun, doubled, and drove in five runs. Josh Kelly doubled and drove in three and Drew Overmyer doubled and drove in two.

FW Carroll 7  Columbia City 6 – Drue Tranquill hit a solo homerun, Grant Inman was 2-4 with a double, two RBI, and two runs, and Ross Koble was 2-4 with a RBI and a run scored.

FW North Side 2 FW Concordia 1 – Alex Myers picked up the win throwing six innings allowing one run on three hits and striking out five. Keegan Carroll and Tyler Cox each went 1-3 with a RBI, Carroll also scored once.

Fremont 11 Lakeland 3 – Glen McClain had a big day at the plate going 4-5 with two doubles, a homerun, three RBI, and two runs scored. Hunter Jordan was 2-4 with three RBI, Brock Baker hit a solo homerun, and Mitch VanZuilen was 2-4 with two runs.

Hanover Central 11 Hammond Morton 1 – Jesse Wilkening was 2-4 with a double, RBI, and run scored, Nick Myskowski drove in two runs and scored once, and Dan Stum double, drove in two, and scored once.  Tyler Scott and Zac Maciejewski each went 2-3 with a RBI. Riley Wlech got the win throwing all five innings allowing one run on two hits and striking out five. 

Hebron 3 Highland 0 – Kyle Joyce was dominant on the mound throwing a two hit shutout and striking out seven.

Heritage 10 Garrett 3 – Wil Knapke was 2-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and three runs scored to lead the offense. Landon Harris was 2-3 with a double, two RBI, and a run, Cole Gererdot was 3-4 with a triple and a run, and Andrew Saalfrank tripled, drove in three, and scored once. Saalfrank also got the win throwing six innings allowing three runs on five hits and striking out seven.

Indian Creek 6 Waldon 2 - Allen Hall got the win throwing all seven innings allowing one earned run, three hits, and striking out seven. Brendon Smith led the offense going 2-3 with a homerun three RBI and a run scored. Chad Rairdon and Tyler Parks each drove in a run.

Lapel 7 Heritage Christian 3 – Brady Cherry led the offense going 2-3 with a double, triple, three RBI, and two runs scored. Jacob Troxell and Adam Taylor each went 1-2 with a RBI, Troxell scored once and Taylor doubled. Todd Sherwood was 1-3 with two runs scored.

Michigan City 9 LaPorte 3 – Scott Thomas threw four innings to get the win on the mound. Logan Kaletha doubled and drove in two runs and Andrew Ray hit a homerun.

Mishawaka 12 Goshen 3 – Jacob Schmatz threw five innings to get the win. Tyler Gruler, Daulton Ryans, and Trey Stoops had three hits each while Murphy Jobin, Sam Schrader, Matt Carver, and Jarrod Laymon had two hits each.

Owen Valley 8 South Putnam 2 – Casey Roberts threw a complete game allowing two runs on three hits and striking out eight. Nathan Swafford was 2-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and a run scored. Nolan King was 2-4 with a double, RBI, and two runs scored and Roberts doubled, drove in a run, and scored twice.

Valparaiso 11 Merrillville 3 – Lehnenwas 2-3 with a homerun, three RBI, and two runs scored to lead the offense. Weston was 3-4 with a RBI and a run, Holmes was 2-4 with two RBI and a run, and Miller was 2-4 with a RBI and two runs.

West Noble 6 Eastside 2 – Levi Melson threw a complete game allowing two unearned runs on seven hits and striking out three to get the win. Kyler Warble doubled and drove in two runs, Cy Mikel doubled and scored twice, and Landon Stover and Drew Wiley each had a hit and drove in a run.

Westview 12 Churubusco 3 – Judah Zickafoose had a big day at the plate going 4-5 with a homerun, five RBI, and three runs. Kohle Christner also homered going 2-4 with two RBI and a run scored. Hunter Christner was 3-5 with a run scored and Damon Miller was 2-3 with a RBI and two runs. Miller also picked up the win throwing eight innings.
