- Rising Stars get on the board in the top of the 1st on an RBI infield single by Jack Giovenco.

- 2020 catcher Evin Sullivan stays hot driving a ball over the right fielder's head to drive in Dan Ciotti who walked and stole second. Sullivan scores on a sacrifice fly by Andrew Kohl to give the Generals their first lead. Tony Rossi follows with a two out RBI single to extend the lead.

- Rising Stars scratch across a run in the top of the 7th, but strand the bases loaded. 

- Prospect Notes - 

- 2021 RHP Alex Estrada has sat 81-85 early with command of the lower third of the zone. Has also mixed in a curveball with late down action at 73-76 and a changeup at 72-73. Second time through the order has added a cutter at 77-78 to the mix.

- 2020 RHP Luke Baker has sat 79-81 with later arm-side run and sink. Has also commanded a late breaking curveball at 68-70.

- Pitcher's duel through 2 innings. 2021 LHP Colton Book and 2020 RHP Jon McCullough are both dealing. Book has picked off two runners to minimize damage.

- As of 12:05 we are in a weather delay.

- Play resumes with Colton Book picking off his 3rd runner of the game to end the top of the 3rd.

- Bombers get on the board in the bottom of the 4th on a wild pitch with 2 outs. All*American answers with a run in the top of the 5th on a double by Bobby Lane and a triple by Brandon Lane.

- Prospect Notes - 

- 2021 LHP Colton Book worked three scoreless innings sitting 81-84 while commanding a curveball at 72-74.

- 2020 RHP Jon McCulloough sat 82-84 early out of a high 3/4 arm slot with some tilt to his curveball at 72-73. Also showcased above average feel for a changeup at 73-74.

- 2020 RHP Lenny Washington (St. Joseph's, WV) sat 84-90 for 3 innings of work. Fastball sat 84-88, topping at 90 mph. Also showcased a tight, late breaking slider at 74-77.

- 2020 RHP Zach Kelly sat 78-82 from a high 3/4 arm slot for 2 innings of work. Also showed confidence in a changeup at 69-71 and a curveball with 11/5 rotation at 68-71.

- Game Notes -  

- Team PBR jumps out to a 1-0 lead in the 1st on an infield single and stolen base by Spencer Butz followed by an RBI single from Daniel Kanagy.

- Pirates explode for 5 runs in the 3rd on 3 hits and a pair of errors. Andrew Muraco's 2 run single was the big blow.

- Prospect Notes - 

-  2021 LHP Carter Welch worked 2 clean innings sitting 83-85 from an up tempo delivery. Creates angles from a 3/4 arm slot with good tilt to his fastball. Also commanded a curveball at 64-66 and changeup at 68-69.

- 2020 LHP Ryan Feczko, a Davidson commit. sat 78-80 from a 3/4 arm slot with an effortless, repeatable delivery. Also commanded his curveball with 1/7 rotation at 68-69 and a changeup at 67-68.

- Pirates add two more runs in the 5th. Andrew Muraco picks up his 2nd RBI of the game on a sac fly.

- Team PBR gets two runs back on a single by Riley Thomas, a triple by Spencer Butz and an RBI groundout from James Lordi. Daniel Kanagy added his second hit of the game in the inning on a double to left center.

- Game Notes -  

- Final game of the day is underway at 4:55. Following a one out walk to Justin Igoe, Dalton Turner doubles to left field. Beneigh works out of the jam with a pop out and a strikeout swinging.

- Following a leadoff triple to deep left center by Nick Bitsko to start the 2nd, Luke Gregory drives him home with a two out single for a Generals 1-0 lead.

- RBI singles from Julian Murray and Justin Igoe, a two RBI single from Andrew Curry and a two RBI double from Emilio Pallante lead to a 6 run 4th for the Generals.

- Julian Murray (sac fly), Emilio Pallante (sac fly) and Justin Igoe (1B) and Dalton Turner (2B) account for 5 RBI in the 5th to add to the Generals lead.

- RBI singles from Evan Kircher, Erik Sundgren, Brandon Robaugh get the Spikes into the score column.

- Prospect Notes

- 2021 RHP Carter Beneigh is sitting 82-84 early out of a high 3/4 arm slot, working solely from the stretch. Also mixing in a curveball with 11/5 rotation at 67-69. Beneigh getting loose, touches 85 mph several times in the 2nd.

- 2020 RHP Tyler Babel is sitting 85-86 early from a high 3/4 arm slot. Also mixing a curveball with 11/5 rotation at 70-72 and a changeup at 71-74.

- RHP/1B Nick Bitsko, No. 1 in the PA Class of 2021 rankings, showing he can also swing the bat. 2-for-2 with a pair of walks in this game with both hits going for triples.

- 2023 RHP Luke McCoy showing promise on the bump sitting 74-75 out of a high 3/4 arm slot with a quick arm. Worked around a triple for a scoreless frame in his first inning of work.
